I always come back to this version of Pirates at 55:45. I misheard the lyrics and thought it was an inspirational song. Also I just wanna say I've always been a fan of the more chill songs in your repertoire! Been listening since your debut album and you guys just have such a way with music. I don't know how you @CaravanPalace feel about it, but Sydney is without a doubt one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard. That clarinet at the end takes me to the most calm, serene place my mind can achieve, it's unmatched by any other song. Sometimes I wish that that song will be the last song I hear as I pass on into the void, because it makes me feel like everything is going to be alright. Thank you for all your hard work. And please don't ever stop making music.

Before Covid hit, I was so fortunate to have the chance to go to Greece...actually it was my first time ever in Europe. I don’t know what it is, but I fell in love with the place. I know Europe is a very diverse continent and Caravan Palace is French, but while listening to this, I just kept remembering my time in Greece, the outdoor restaurants lining the narrow streets, people enjoying themselves at coffee shops instead of working, musicians playing at every corner, the kind strangers and fresh mountain air...it was the first time in a long time I felt like I could breathe... I could be wrong, but from what I’ve seen and heard, I feel like a lot of Europe has a similar vibe. After having traveled a bit during my life, I realize each region of the world gives off certain “vibes” of life; the States give you an endless chase toward your movie dreams, but Europe gives you something else, maybe just the chance to sit down and enjoy the present. But I would have to do more traveling to verify that😆

Sa bonté jaillissait de son regard brillant. c'était un moment de pur bonheur, merci de m'avoir offert ce moment de pureté dans le bonheur qui me convainc qu'il existe et qu'il est notre réelle aspiration en tant qu'humain). Je n'ai jamais vu des concerts tels que ceux-là. Jamais. C'est une expérience magnifique, et il y a un formidable sentiment de communion avec tout le public, le groupe, la musique. Caravan Palace a toujours stimulé en moi des émotions intenses, et toutes se rapprochent de l'émancipation de moi-même. Leur musique communique à mon âme une positivé qui m'encourage à faire, créer, oser, aimer. Ce groupe a changé ma vie de bien des façons. Il a été d'un immense secours à mon être en proie perpétuel à l'insidieux démon du doute. Après une enfance de violence, j'ai pu me réfugier dans leur musique. C'était mon refuge de paix. C'était mon véritable moi qui se cachait des autres ; et ce moi Caravan Palace me l'a révélé, et m'a appris à le révéler au monde. Je suis presque redevable envers ce groupe. J'ai été diagnostiqué Trouble de la Personnalité Borderline il y a 3 ans. Puis, dans la foulée, Haut Potentiel. Ma vie a connu un basculement qui aurait pu devenir un drame. L'album Chronologic a été une véritable bouée de secours dans ma vie renversée. C'était mon ancre dans l'espoir qui semblait fuir l'horizon de ma vie. Caravan Palace était là quand j'étais seul à Tokyo, perdu, dans l'aéroport. CP était là avec moi à Istanbul. A Berlin. En Italie. Caravan Palace m'accompagne partout. Quand je désespère, quand je sombre, quand je migre vers les plus ténébreuses destinations du malheur, Caravan Palace est ma potion magique, mon élixir, mon rappel aux bons souvenirs, mon phénix, et je retrouve mes ailes. Je dois beaucoup à ce groupe. Il m'accompagne depuis mon adolescence, et je ne peux pas imaginer ma vie sans cette musique. Merci pour tout ce que vous faîtes. Immensément. Très sincèrement. Un auditeur qui aspire à la légèreté avec une balance qui penche défavorablement depuis sa naissance

I listened to this mix when it came out in 2020. I listened to it when I was in preparatory school for my competitive exams, during two years, and I'm listening to it now, as a cadet in the Armed Forces. It is wonderful, how it made me going through everything, relaxing me whenever I needed and helping me to go back to life with a new, brighter sight. Thank you Caravan Palace. I owe you a lot.
