@@MsMariajuana420 It´s relaxing and cool indeed. I bet that this music brings many different pleasant memories to some people (by what I read on other comments). I do remember that I found this music while searching for more Carbon Based Lifeforms musics, after I brought some jack o´lantern mushrooms home for the first time, because I wanted to know how it glowed. I got so happy to find them, after hours of searching in vain under the trees (and days of research on the web), in the first place! I got the coordinates of the place where they emerged online and it happened to not be very far away from where I lived. I remember that I saw the first ones glowing strongly, while this music was playing at home, so it really added some magic to the experience . Some were very large, it looked like glowing trumpets and were very aromatic. I got so intrigued by that! Their glow was so eerie and mysterious! This music also brings pleasant memories of a certain spot on the forest that I like to visit when the jack o´lantern mushrooms are out and the kind of atmosphere that involves those moments (those foggy, wet, fragant but pleasant autumn nights). Since 2011, I visit the place, yearly, and the colony is getting bigger and whenever I get there I do remember about the best parts of this music (at least, to me).. :-) It makes me feel happy and cool! Since it is a somehow related phenomena, whenever I find luminous foxfire, many times, I remember about some musics and one of it, is surely this one as well... Such simple things are so wonderful! I love luminous foxfire at a point that sometimes I sleep with them next to my bed. It gives away also a very earthy natural perfum. Lately, I got hooked into this! And the ones to blame, are the jackies! XD I am not a native English speaker, but I hope that my message is understood. I also hope that other people find their jackies or live similarly simple but wonderful experiences. :)

@@geogm.840 that’s beautiful! The way you described this place and experience made me feel as if I was there under that same moon those night with you. Thank you for the trip. This track has been with me for a while - it's that kind of track, beautiful and nostalgic, really digging deep into the matter of your person - and during those years I've perceived the vocal sample to mean several different things. But I find that I'm now set on an interpretation I find particularly appealing and emotionally powerful: "You are to be born." Out of all the ideas I've had this makes the most sense, taking into account the beautiful combination of nostalgia and innocence in the tune, as well as the name - where "Hydroponic Garden" would not only mean the kind where you grow your funny plants, but also the aqueous environment of the womb, where the yet-to-be-born infant is cradled in prenatal paradise. Thereby the voice would be an angelic presence or the voice of loving Life herself, calling the infant; or perhaps in less poetic terms the genetically encoded, nascent preparation of the infant for entering life in all its glory. You are to be born. You are to be born. Naturally at the same time the sample would remind us of that paradise we have all been in before, as a growing seedling of a human being - and perhaps similarly remind us that, in a way, we are still yet to be born, we are still in the womb; we never left, we are still in connection to all everything. The universe is our womb. Finally, as Gautama Buddha Shakyamuni says in the Dhammapada: "When your light shines purely, you will not be born, and you will not die"; we have never truly been the kind of person we think we are, limited, individual and helpless. There has always been the womb, and we have only ever existed in connection to it, nourished by it, accompanied by it, always. Even the possibility of such powerful (to me, at least) interpretations forces me to have and show the utmost respect to Daniel and Johannes - and some other of their works certainly show that such incredibly attuned, honest, raw, primordially powerful and everlasting symbolism is well within their reach. Digging deep into your person, indeed - to the very beginning.

Wonderful thought. In my personal view, ambient electronic like this is the best medium through which to explore these deep, intangibly mysterious and abstract feelings. It achieves the greatest level of wordless abstraction imagineable, while still maintaining a beautifully coherent melody and sonic structure. I especially love the part at 3:54, it's the functional equivalent of a "bass drop", but with the opposite effect of making me feel euphoric introspection... and then it comes back around beautifully at 5:36 in a wonderful crescendo. Just a brilliant work of art this is.

Solar Fields and Carbon Based Lifeforms are both Swedish and have done some work together.Personally I don´t like all their musics (I´m not easy on this, because there isn´t a single music group that makes me like all their musics), although most I find ok (mainly in terms of quality, which is well above average) but some of their musics are truly excellent! For example, regarding psychedelic trance, Astral Projection, in my opinion, is well above average, in terms of quality and complexity. They also produced some excellent musics, although I don´t like all their stuff. But preferences are preferences, everyone have their own.

When i listen to Carbon Based Lifeforms, naturally being a Carbon based life form, I like to eat some Carbon based psilocybin -- fiend to sun baths and sex thrills, I eat the top off the mycelial network. What a better way to realize your already enlightened state and get in touch with the planet, than through the plants themselves...
