Hey Patrick, not sure if you’ve checked them out, but there is a local full carbon dinghy manufacturer in Knysna called SeaSUV that a bunch of us have purchased instead of the OC Tender. Lots of nice improvements over the OC, plus supports the local economy & is a significantly better value once you factor in no shipping & import costs. Ours is next to “splash”. Also cool to see our boat in the video showing the different carbon options 👍🏻

Yes, a few of our customers are buying these and it makes a lot of sense to avoid the shipping costs and get a local product.

My question relating to carbon would be, its compatibility with other materials, and the electrolysis created. Thanks 👏😎🇦🇺

Carbon must be bonded properly when in contact with other materials, in particular metal fittings. This is so whether we are building a full carbon XP model or a Carbon Cross or Carbon Core version of our boats.
