Stu coming over to the drak side..lovely carbon when broken in Stainless steel is nice But carbon just brings a different touch to your finished work 💪👍

If you’re using a carbon steel trowel every day it won’t need no special treatment . I was taught 35 odd years back with one carbon steel trowel to plaster start to finish. I went over to stainless about 25 years ago as they were the big thing🤣 always use 14 x 4.5 Marshall town gold stainless laying on and a very well worn in 14 x 4 stainless Tyzack troweling up👍

love a carbon steel, i don't do anything to mine, i propably plaster about 2 days of the week on average, if a bit of rust has built up on the underside i just give it a rub with sandpaper/ concrete and crack on.
