The life gem does not actually assist in much as the additional life gain from the apprentice warden already counteracts the life gem, they do not stack and yes life gem is slightly better but for 20 housing space and the option for different warden equipments which are much better. It's a no brainer apprentice warden is better than life gem.

You're struggling so much for a TH16... On that base, with 4 super witches, 4 druids with spam, 3 stars guaranteed... In Legends with a non-maxed TH15, without Diggy, I only face maxed TH16s, 95% of my attacks are 3 stars with this strategy. I hate Root Rider attacks.
