I have my HPI Baja 5B from 2006 and my 5T / SC and love them get more enjoyment from these than my other four fourwheel drives LOSI 5ive-T- FID Dragonhammer -Kraken RC VEKTA 5 - Kraken RC KV5TT but I still get more enjoyment with two wheel drive as it takes more skill to get one to work than a four wheel drive. I have one recomondation swap out that air filter I had one on my 5B and it let dust passed the filter and ruined the bore I went back to the stock on both and added the TGN red two stage outer filter and an Outerwears pre-filter no more dust getting through and all I do is have four extra filters oiled and ready to go. The condition of your SC is excellent I had a 5T but sold it it was as clean but needed space had two as mentioned and wanted to try out the Dragonhammer and glad I did it is so different to my Krakens handling wise maybe slightly better than the buggy but not the truck not sure why as very similar to the VEKTA-5 build wise. Nice collection you have I have six gas then in electric I have one 6th scale the others are 1.7th on and off road.

I’ve got this truck in the brushless version. For its time it was a beast and honestly can’t even recall breaking anything on it. Maybe a couple of gears and definitely require an upgrade steering servo

BEAUTIFUL! Wow, I too wish they were still producing these. Though I have to admit I'd want electric. Not sure when it happened, I used to love the sound of a two stroke, but now I want them quiet, I'm officially old I guess! LOL. My ultimate RC would be a true 1/5 4x4 electric truggy. I have the Arrma K8, and it's great, but not really built to 1/5 proportions, and they're too sloppy. Great video Sir!

Nice video I love the dirt all over the body looks like it's been in a real race. You had the motor tuned out was that just a stock motor sounds to me like it runs better than the motors that they give out today in the newer versions

Me and my grandpa built a 5sc together, inherited it a couple of years ago and finally got to take her out for some rips this year, so much fun ahaha but scared to rip it to hard now that they’re discontinued😅

I had this same truck and the original buggy. Loved for the longest time. Then I got into crawlers, bashers, and minis. Motor needed to be rebuilt. Parts were impossible to find. it was just taking up room. So unfortunately I had to throw it away in the trash. Wish they made them again. I'd probably get hooked again.

@ Dang only a 26cc, Imagine a 80cc Taylor in that beast 😁 It did seem like decent power with the 26cc, I think around 30cc Taylor would be a sweet spot, 80cc would probably just blow the tires off especially being 2wd… Would be fun to see if it can handle it though 😂
