🇫🇷 Carcans Plage 🏖️ Road trip between Atlantic and Gironde

Due to the extreme forest fires south of Bordeaux we had to change our
change our destination. Today we are only 50 km away from Bordeaux.
Our last destination in the Bay of Biscay is in Médoc a peninsula between the Atlantic coast and the estuary of the Gironde. In Carcans Plage, a village with 2500 inhabitants, we find excellent thermal conditions for paragliders in the dunes which are up to 65 m high.
There is no need to talk about the endless beaches. They are really unique.
