I seen em a year earlier than this and got to watch Ken by himself for about 40 minutes before the doors opened up, I was pretty happy as a 14 year old kid who just started playing drums too. I noticed they have a new style banner/back drop here and that's coz a friend (rip) of mine stolen the other one with the circle of surgical tools on it! Lol
Man, how awesome that they opened with Incarnated Solvent Abuse. If you put a gun to my head, Necroticism is their best album.

I agree with that. Most people say Heartwork is their best but I will never forget the first time I listened to Necroticism. It had only just come out and listened to it twice in a row all the way through the first time. It just blew my 14 year old mind. Especially the lyrics. Instant adoration. Inpropagation is still my favourite song of theirs.

Bill steer is god himself when it comes to death metal guitar. The dude is on one side of napalm deaths debut album 'scum' and earache records first ever album release and greatest selling record for them still, except 'domination' which is the most successful death metal release of all time. That guitar tone is just so good and still better than anything else out there. Pity Mike ammot left just before this tour but don't get anything mixed up about who schooled who, coz it was all Bill steer and his influence and tone, he's a sick singer too, better than Jeff walker is anyway

I will wake up a few years earlier when Michael was a new member. In the future he stays with Carcass and Ken Owen remains healthy with Bill and Jeff. They continue to release awesome melodic extreme metal albums. This simply turned into a wishlist for the future of an ideal Carcass 😉 🎼

@jeremyrobertson72674 жыл бұрын
@@JakeRazorClawson Mike was more of a hired gun, than an actual permanent member really. He only did the solos on necroticism after the fact, it was already written and recorded without him and that's why he's not in the 'incarnated solvent abuse' film clip at all, and then he left as soon as heartwork was finished recording and didn't do any of the touring for it. Fuck heartwork, it was the very reason why they gave up in the first place and is loathed by the band itself, its their 'sell out' record, with swansong being their full pop music album. Surgical steele that came out around 2015 is fuckin sick and a true return to form after so long of releasing nothing or playing live. I was expecting the worse or At least equally as mediocre and was instead completely blown away by it and how it really feels like the spiritual succeser to 'necroticism' and symphonies. I'm guessing its coz it was an independent release again and they had -00% CREATIVE control and weren't dictated to by a dipshit record executive and what will sell the most copies and gain the most mainstream success. That whole deal was not just the end of carcass, ut the whole death metal and thrash scene altogether and has never er been the same since, just a parody of itself going thru the motions and fueled by nostalgia

Carcass w najlepszym swoim czasie. I ten rodzaj wokalu - uwielbiam. Super sprawa, że grają znowu. Ostatnia płyta jest bardzo dobra. Greetings from Poland!

I saw this tour in Charlotte, NC at a place called Rocky’s. Life of Agony, I think Clutch, Monster Machine too I guess. They were all honestly barely a warm up for what Carcass brought. Right around the same time we saw Sepultura on the Chaos AD tour with Fudge Tunnel, and.......Life of Agony and Clutch? Sorry ya’ll, at least I’m not bullshitting. So Max and Igor are playing pool right where everybody had to walk through from bar to stage. There are walls on either side of this long hall with maybe e three tables and no one could get through cause everyone was just frozen in awe while those two tried their damndest to play a game of pool. No chance. I was in awe too!! Just playing pool. Long crazy ass dreads hanging all over the place. Doc Martens. Just iconic. So the other bands played I guess, Fudge Tunnel was awesome, it the intro to Sepul was the intro to the album with Zion’s heartbeat and the tiny toms on a loop. Like a stupid long loop. It seemed like 10 minutes to life, anticipation building like crazy. When they came on the place went nuts. The road cases acting as barricades at the front of the stage ended up as an island in the middle of the mosh pit with all of us diving off the cases onto the pit and since we took away the barricade/road cases the stage was out of hand too. Then a blur of awesome fury and not giving a fuck about anything else but motherfucking Sepultura live and direct and far beyond my wildest expectations for the show I’d see. Epic. Fucking Epic. And there were two opening bands. And Carcass played on that same stage another time and I don’t recall who opened for them either, as said before, but it’s funny, so laugh. Or go listen to James Taylor. Whatever your delicate heart desires. “CHAOS....AD....TANKS IN THE STREETS!!! CONFRONTING POLICE...BLEEDING THE PLEBS!!” But Carcass...................can’t be touched.

Blastbeat Industries duh!! Totally forgot fucking Clutch and FF. Those aren’t really my kinds of bands. Everybody thinks I would love Clutch, but to me bands like Cathedral make ALL the heavy slower riffage bands look silly. I also saw CofC on the Blind Tour and Testament was the headliner but after the CofC show dudes were literally walking around in the pit emulating jacking off while Testament played anything but their greatest shit. CofC had an altercation with security being rough on one of the fans up front like second song in. Some back and forth. Band walks backstage. 20 min later singer asks crowd if they wanted security to stay or go. Of course go. 5 min later CofC c,we back and the place erupted. For most of the show there were at least two bodies in the air. If you were in the pit it was raining bodies. Fucking bonkers. Ironically went to see White Zombie who opened and got there when they were walking out. We said fuck it, we’ll stay for CofC. Glad we did. Unreal
