They did break up for 13 years though & got back together because Firebird & Blackstar didn't go anywhere.

​@@Malegysthese guys weren't able to cash on their potential. Incredibly, someone thought they were a side project of Arch Enemy! Luckily, the perseverance of Walker got them together. He even harassed Pearson from Earache to get their money. Still think Heartwork and especially Swansong shouldn't have been released. They should have released Surgical steel after Necroticism. And never stopped playing. They could have been even more successful. But at least they play live steadily, headline little festivals and make good money.

They've never compromised their music. Yeh their later albums aren't as brutal as their earlier stuff but they just do what they want to do and are really accomplished musicians. Carcass aren't really my thing but they are impressive live. They are also from my area of the UK and I know Jeff from rock clubs I used to go to in the 80s. Good bloke.

Carcass is climbing my list as maybe my top metal band ever... they just rule. I got to see them in Omaha and it was just as tight as this show. Legends with albums that don't disappoint.

What an amazing performance! Man... My Junior and Senior years of High School WERE this band. Still have my Gods of Grind tour shirt in my (body) bag of memories. Even though I moved on to a more punk rock kinda thing, Carcass, Cynic, Death, Obituary, Cathedral, and Entombed will always have a deliciously disgusting place in my heart.
