I was honestly looking for a review with all the different specs and features each model had to offer and this was the best video I had come across so far. I bought one 8 months ago. Love this car. It’s a little rocket ship. Quite and smooth. The only thing negative I could mention is that the seats are to hard with not enough cushion. Best car I’ve ever owned. I’m in my mid fifties. And have owned many cars. This thing is just amazing.

Anyway , probably paid a little more than we should have but's like new.Very happy with the car, great performance and comfort. On the down side, like the video said, the audio and comfort controls being on the display kinda suck.Other than that I recommend anyone looking for a reasonably priced 'sports' sedan, buy this.

@@garciacelso12 At the Honda dealer when we bought our 2018 Civic EXL they just rolled in a new 2020 Civic Type R. It was like a ready for road race car. It had a Kevlar areo kit, IE: rear bumper skirts, side skirts, front splitter and a big rear wing. Recaro racing front bucket seats with 5 point seat belts. 304 HP with a 6 speed manual transmission. Our 2018 Civic has 184 HP and it gets 0- to 60 in a flash. I cant imagine what that 304 HP would do. ha But at $37, 550 or so sticker price, I'll have to put that on my wish list. But agree that the auto trans with a sport mode would be awesome.

Honda made some much-needed improvements to the Civic, but I don't care for the black matte plastic on the front grille; it makes the car look cheap, also that plastic will discolor over time, and that will not look good. Overall, it think it's a lot of car for the money, and after looking at the entry-level Acura ILX; the Honda Civic seems like the better choice.
@kennypowers76026 жыл бұрын
I too was considering an ILX. They had a decent lease special (~2500 down, 199/month on a 36-month, 30k mile lease). The dealbreaker for me was the ILX required premium fuel. The Civic Sport hatchback only "recommends" premium.

@CarConfections6 жыл бұрын
Yes it does have a CVT. There is no traditional automatic option, but you can choice a 6-speed manual if you prefer.
@biggiboiy6 жыл бұрын
wow, fast response. Ive heard lots of negativity when it comes to CVT. Things like transmission having to be replaced near 60k-100k miles. Also loud sound when going higher speeds like being on the highway, so loud it can get quite annoying, louder than the engine or even radio itself. Are these false?
@CarConfections6 жыл бұрын
It is true that some manufactures have had trouble with CVT's in the past but nowadays there are millions of new vehicles from nearly ever brand with CVT's. I'm not saying it won't have problems but CVT's generally don't have serious issues like they used to. As far as noise, a CVT does cause the engine to drone when you accelerate hard, but under low strain (like on the highway) its not going to make anymore noise than a regular automatic. Hope this helps!
