Barry Meguiar is the definition of car crazy. You can see his love for cars pouring out of him. He's also one of the nicest, most generous people anywhere. The world needs more like him. This has to be one of the best of the "Car Crazy" series. Muscle Car City is a must for me and what thrills me is, their driven.

Matt, I realize my comment is 4 years late but I have to say, you said it just about as good as anyone could, I've been "Happily Divorced" since 1986 and I couldn't be happier, I've got just about everything I wanted in life except the years I wasted on my 2 ex-wives. Right on, Brother. I just subbed, left a thumbs up and clicked on the bell, the next thing I might do is take a ride down to Punta Gordo, Florida and drive one of these beautiful cars home.

We need people just like this to conserve the world history of rare and general cars of the Era. Such a shame that the consumer world would just chew them up and spit them out without a care. The modern Era is ridiculous with plastic cars which are virtually uncollectable and a throw away item. The bygone era is the best in terms of cars.

Usually when you see this many classic cars together, the owner is a deluded, cheap as hell hoarder and the cars are rusting to oblivion in barns and fields behind " No trespassing" signs. They won't restore them; the won't sell them - they keep lying to themselves and everyone else that "someday" they're gonna fix em' up as new. " Someday" never comes but the coroner does. What a pleasure to see someone who built a solid collection, has the means to maintain them AND invites the public in to share his passion.

There's something else here too, Why does everyone get so obsessed with finding a specific car with the engine that's the biggest and most powerful when that same year and model came from the factory with something that wasn't qutie as big but still had enough to get the job done!. It seems as though people would just as soon forget a 60s Chevelle with a good strong 283 or 327if they got obsessed with a 396!. The same applies with full size Chevrolets from the 60s. All these collectors are looking for four o nines or from 1966 on a 427. And they often pass over the smallest 283s ( which are still one of the best Chevrolet engines ever!) And even a 327 could still pin you in your seat when you stepped on the gas!.All I'm saying is that I wouldn't look past some 60s full size Chevrolet if it didn't have a big block!. Or other cars for that matter!.
