Card Rarity in Keyforge | How Rare is Rare?

There are only six Special rarities in the set, three of the Horsemen, Master of 2 and 3 and Help from Future Self. The Horsemen only appear if the Horseman of Pestilence is chosen by the Algorythm. The different Masters appear to be randomized if Master of 1 is chosen, and Help only appears with Time Traveller. Mavericks aren't their own rarety, they're simply any card that appears outside of its regular house. The odds of any particular rare appearing is approximately 2%, so the Horsemen, for example, aren't more rare than any other given rare.

Master of 1 is also marked as a special rarity. So I guess that makes seven.

Ok, now, I'm confused. From my understanding, this absolutely contradicts the info in the video (regarding the numbers (0.44% to 2%) and regarding the classification of cards (special vs 'special rares?").

2 wardrummers would be super powerful with a lot of play abilities, but that is why they made the rule of 6, so no more than 6 of the same card or copies of the same card could be played in 1 turn.

I suppose with all the possible combinations it would be tough to be specific so a general overview or more popular combos would work. I just struggle to see what a deck is trying to accomplish or what good combos exist that make a deck strong. I obviously misplay probably every deck I own because of this. So yea any general tips or strategies would be great! Perhaps further down the road you could take subscriber decks and play them or give a deck analysis...just a thought lol. Thanks for the reply!

Don't be so hard on yourself haha this game can get quite complicated. The best advice I have is just to play more games, you will get a feel for it eventually. thecrucibleonline.com is a great resource and you can even play your own decks! That is definitely something I have considered and if I hear more people asking for subscriber deck analysis or gameplay I could make those pretty easily.

I wonder though as the decks keep getting randomly made won't we eventually see doubles of certain cards ATM we think are not possible to be multiples?

Good point, however, the decks are not totally random. There is an algorithm in place to control certain outcomes and variability in order to make decks more "fun" per FFG. So, unless there is some error or malfunctions in printing, which there have been, you will not see doubles of the cards stated in this video. Hope this clears it up :)

well dont repeat means u dont have duplicates of them so u dont have them 2 times in your deck. That doenst effect the other cards than can only be in your deck once

If the artifact is only controlled by u for one turn it stays. If I take full control then you keep the amber

It sounds like you wrapped a piece of copper around a ball of tinfoil and stuck the other end into your computer and then you walked into a different room and recorded your entire audio from there. lol but for real. Great video. But I would definitely invest in a microphone.

Please, please, pretty please normalize your audio levels. -- It's a one-click solution in software such as Audacity and it'll make sure we can hear you clearly. Your audio is so quiet that to watch it, at a reasonable level I had to download it, strip the audio, normalise it and then export and watch it on my PC.

@@seancallagher999volume variation between content creators (and music) is just a pet peeve of mine. So I give the advice necessary to fix it. I shouldn't have to put my volume to 100% (from 30) for one video to get a comparable audio level. I only went through the effort to watch it in comfort because the video was very promising (and delivered!).
