Doubles in the MOney Cards meant a loss. In 1980, they changed that rule to make it a push, probably due to the pain of players losing several grand on a double two or double Ace.

Mark Jones that’s the reason I liked the 1986-89 version of card sharks; no win-no loss in the Money Cards throughout the entire run.
