Great pick ups from the kiddos. I gotta say that Timmy did great with those Tatis cards, the Hank Aaron and Griffey RC, but I definitely think Robbie had a great pick with the Luis Robert. Definitely a close race

Those Frank Thomas's are really bad, that's pretty dirty to sell those for anything more than a 25 cents to a buck. 5 or 6 bucks, what you paid, is what a nm to mint copy costs, so they had to have known some of those were going to be a rip off for someone if they sold

I carry a loupe with a light. mainly for the big dollar cards.

Timmy won easy. For you those Frank Thomas rookies can be found fir $1-$3 all day in perfect shape. $5 each seemed steep, and then crazy with creases. But value box hunting sometimes the cards are bought and sold by many and the seller doesn’t see it either. Love the kids $40 battle!

The cards are damaged and the person selling them knew that very well. That's no different than me selling on eBay. I would never send out some trash like that to one of my customers. Luis Robert game-used Jersey was a very nice pickup. Good Video.

9:00 Yep had that happen to me about a year ago. Same way too. I went to a card show in Vegas and horrible lighting. I went into it wanting a Kris Bryant rookie. Found one that looked amazing for $15. Took it home and upon pulling it out of the top loader it looked like crap. Had a couple pretty big creases on it. From now on I'm gonna start either shining the light on my phone at it or take a flashlight with me to exam the cards better before I buy them.

All those cards are nice. I like the Hank Aaron. Unless your sending them in to get graded or are a real stickler about condition then it’s not too big a deal. It just means someone else also enjoyed them.
