It has to be restrictive otherwise it would destroy the card game economy. I can make a new account on a second device, complete tutorial and gather 240 hourglasses in 1 or 2 hours, trade all Exs and Alt Art, delete my account and repeat

I think it'll be a combination of these things: 1. You need to be account level 15 or 20 2. You can only trade extra copies and never go below 2 copies of a card 3. There is a unique currency for trading similar to the hourglass that refills over time 4. Cards you trade have to be of the same rarity I think those restrictions are fairly comprehensive and still allow for the mechanic to be fun and engaging while preventing account farming. Because even if you try to abuse the system by creating multiple accounts, it would take a week or more to reach level 20 AND get 2 copies of the card you wanna trade per account. It wouldn't be feasible

I'm okay with everything u said being the case except No.2, Having to have dupes just to be able to trade sucks, I have lots of 1 off Exs I don't plan to use like arcanine, marowak, wiggly, blastoise, gengar etc. I have them all but 1 offs. I need to trade them off to get value outta them, I would say just make the trading currency come from disenchanted cards so we can Disenchant cards we don't like and when we get a certain amount, we can proceed with the trade.

I also don't like number 3. The game already disincentivizes continuous play in favor of logging in only during cooldowns.

In my opinion, no.2 should be the extra cards while you have 1 left, but I think it will be as you said.

No. 2 is almost guarantee, because we only able to make flair if we have at least 2 copies left after the process. So trade will have simmilar rule.

Although i am pretty sure they will only will let you trade if you have 3 copy's of a card, i hope they take into account the full art versions, i dont need 2 normal Moltres EX and a Full Art, just let me trade one of the normal for a EX I don't own

I bet we’ll need to use Shinedust and a lot of it to trade the higher ranked cards. This will involve a ton of solo play and makes the trophies more meaningful. Right now getting Shinedust to flair cards is okay.

My hunch is that the hourglass mechanics makes sense with the ethos of the game. Add need to have extra copies and a certain level requirement and I think you have a solid game plan. I hope they dot rarity lock the game as I think the need to have 2 copies is sufficient for higher rarity cards. I would be ok with a resource system added on top of that so rare cards are a bit harder to constantly trade

I would suspect rarity for rarity, or if its multi card trading equivalent pack point values of traded cards. Enforced trade parity erradicates the majority of expliots, aside from allowing a player to convert their duplicate 1 and 2 stars into their packs point value of equivalent higher rarity cards from alts. The other question is weather you going to be able to make trade listings (assuming 1:1 equivalent trades), as this would let someone put up their duplicate giovani and requests a erika for example. Trading by definition will reduces how much players need to spend to obtain all the cards, but thats intended cause the game doesnt have a disenchant/deconstruct system for duplicate cards (aside from flairs), so it likely intended you perform trades to fill out your "pokedex", assuming your not a spender.

Restrictions on trading will more than likely be that you must own more than 2 of a card to be able to trade it away. This would circumvent the reroll problem for the most part. This way no one could just reroll for crown rares and then trade them to their main account. Though, rerolling for regular rares is a possibility

They need to release this trading feature with little to no restrictions I don’t care if some dude wants to make 1K accounts for extra packs. You would still have to trade a card and your main account doesn’t have an infinite amount of cards so yes even if you can manipulate it it wouldn’t be as effective as you may think.

What I potentially see for trading: -can trade only after a certain level; I foresee 20 -limit to 1 trade per day (or it runs on a 24hr timer) -trade of the same rarity but must have more than 1 copy -will consume some kind of resource For people with subscription: -trades increased to 2 per day -second trade of the day is free

My only concern is if LATAM, specially BRL will have localized prices, bc paying in dollar for us will be completely out of question... Primally bc the premium subscription is to open an extra booster pack+more missions to complete. So I don't think paying +6x the normal price+taxes will be fair here.

Daily time gates are bad, its not necessary that a trade will always be available for you. Completing the dex only needs 1 copy, 2 is for a playset. Some people just want to collect 1. So once you have 2, you should be able to trade it. I would prefer a marketplace that you can only enter after a certain time period like a few months or level 25 or after collecting certain number of cards like 200/226.

In Pokémon GO you can only trade a limited amount of Pokémon per day, AND you have to be near the other person to trade. I don't know if that is necessary in Pocket, but it would be good ways to control trading exploit.

If you have multiple accounts you basically going to trade yourself, is that how you want to progress? It isn’t like all the other games, and just cheat by making loads of accounts and think it’s ok to trade yourself (when the time comes)… you trade WITH OTHER PEOPLE just like you do in (real life) because you, is you as 1 not a load of clones. Literally said in restrictions of what and not to do… to only have one account and lots of other bamboozy which I will never do.

Trading once per day is WAY too often. I was thinking once per month or the games going to lose itself completely. Everyone will have everything by the end of every season..
