What do think is best for tutorials, tricks or sleights??

Sleights. This way everyone can and should come up with the own effect/routine/handling.

Wow! Very nice, Daniel Madison. I am enjoying practicing this one now. And I don't think you were talking too long in this video. Perhaps in some of your older videos it felt like you were talking a little long if it's about some topic this is philosophical or too nebulous... where you are trying to figure out how to express yourself in real time.... BUT... in this case I really enjoyed all the talking and extra details and thoughts you had to offer BECAUSE of the fact you are teaching something valuable. Some sleights are really difficult to learn and many will just give up. So having a lot of detail and time talking about this... helps very much. Especially I enjoyed that you performed it so many times so I could watch you and have time for my brain to parse out the core actions required. Additionally I really like that pushing the top card forward as you turn over action. I have not seen either of these before... but I really like them. Lastly... I enjoy how you seem more relaxed and happy... making jokes. It seems like you are kinda being yourself more now. Or at least how I imagine that to be! :) Thanks for this video.

Whaou ! You are defensively to my eyes one of the best cardist and magician of the KZbin world. Not only does your favourite card is the 9 of clubs (best card ever btw) but you do love ravens (one of the best animal of the creation btw). More than that your are doing INCREDIBLE work on those tutorials !! I am found of all the details that you put in it: the mirrors effect on the back, your only one orange socket and all that kind of amazing stuff !! (And obviously the containt is out of this world) Continue to do a such great job, we are all grateful about it ! (To make people who do not like talks in tutorials happy what would you say about putting a timeline of your tutorial in the description or at the beginning of the video. That would help us find the spots that we are working on 3 weeks later to try masteries the skill too) A huge thanks from a french fan !

It all depends on who's talking. Some people you just want to get to the point, but i don't mind when you do because of what you said, you want to make sure you're teaching it right and giving important tips. If you keep it between 15 - 20min. You're good. Great job and thank you for all the wisdom. I just got the book Magic is Dead, can't wait to read.

New band name... "Pivot on the Clunge." 🤣🤣🤣 Agree with you everything you said regarding double lifts. Doubles should look like a single card and not be overdramatic. "be real, be honest." Also, the risky sleight of hand you talk about tends to look less like there is anything fishy going on. Love it. Fanks again as always!

Thank you for such good tutorials. Your video production is as entertaining as your magic. I can't understand why your subs aren't growing faster. There are some real hacks out there that just reveal the tricks with no commentary, just music, who for some reason have a huge following. I think very soon you will see big growth. You deserve it. I love the mirror thing. Ever thought of standing still for a few seconds and let the mirror image talk? Give my regards to Charlie and Susan Sausage.

I started learning sleight of hand about 6 months ago, and this is the one thing that I never understood. Why turn a a double lift in this weird way? As soon as you know how to do it, you always see it and you get scared that the audience will see it as well. The way you do magic is always fooling me because of the ''real'' aspect of you turning double lifts and most of your moves as well. You are incredibly talented, keep it up!

The “ clunge “ is definitely NOT a part of the 🤚. According to urban dictionary the clunge is a reference to “female genitalia” as in “I saw her clunge when she got out of the taxi” 😆 Please Do Not put a card into the clunge even if Madison tells you to. The curved crease going down your palm that he is referring to is the Thenar. The meaty part is known as the Thenar Eminence, the Thenar Prominence or the Thumb Butt. I hope this clarifies things. 😊
@LedZep2345 жыл бұрын
It will always be the clunge to me. And Charlie the bird meows like a kitten. And mirrors show us different realities. And one sock is enough sock.

CACairns, and the Flanel? I don’t know where that came from? Quick question for you; Does Madison alternate the sock foot or does he just throw all his left socks away?

I really like the idea of figuring sleights into routines where it’s not critical that they go off just right. I’ve been messing around with passes and I’m amazed at what I can get away with just by maintaining eye contact. Similarly if you flash a double, but the control is flawless, they’ll still be left wondering what happened.

Actually, I don't consider your talkings as boring cause in my view, it is much better when an effect and its secret are brought out with the subtitles it has in the real life and the ways you can perform it naturally or what it should look like in a particular situation, not just pure dry demonstration. No matter what you perform, but how you do it. So keep going, fanx
