As I said in the video, the ADA/USD valuation is trickier than ADA/BTC and ADA/ETH. ADA/USD depends on BTC/USD, but ADA/BTC and ADA/ETH likely go down no matter the direction of BTC/USD, at least until the Fed pivots. So the point is that BTC gives you exposure to the upside, while minimizing your downside risk (compared to ALTs). That will change at some point later this year is my guess.

Smart contracts were released at the top during the Vasil hardfork, and frankly the developer experience was dogshit then because all you could do is use Haskell to build SCs, and PlutusV1 wasn't optimized at all. Surprisingly only 2 years later the Cardano ecosystem is booming with a lot of daily volume being traded. From multiple DEXs to stable coins to lending/borrowing/NFT platforms, and a billion dollar treasury system where people can vote to fund projects. A thriving community that is building because of major improvements in the dev experience. People have literally built several compilers in the past months just to onboard developers more easily in order to not have to learn an esoteric language like Haskell. You can build SCs now in Python, Typescript, Aiken, Helios and some other languages.

So do I understand correctly. QT = Altcoins bleed into BTC QE = investors tent venture into the Altcoins again( taking a bit more risk on ) 2nd point , BTC in an upward dominance trend will also suck liquidity and value from the Altcoins. So my take away is, play with Altcoins if you like the taste of higher risk with possibly higher rewards but either way BTC still is the best into which to invest , during QT,QE,BTC dominance high or low.

Looking at the pattern, it looks ADA did its way down already, so moving out of ADA or other alts at this point of time seems to be a very bad idea. My opportunity cost was immense, holding a little Cardano from last Bull, through until now. Compared to other Alts, this is was the stable coin in my portfolio, during the last year. Only reason I'm still in it are taxation reasons. I learned, that it is sometimes better to bite the bullet, take the loss and put your money on a faster horse... I'm hoping BTC.D gets to around 57% over the next few months and then I will feel comfortable moving heavily into altcoins.
