I bought Aspire diesel Trend, its an awesome car. The feel of driving the car is just too good. Mileage in city is 19 and on highway getting around 26-28 both on AC. The highest I feel with such an easy ans amazing driving experience. BEST CAR IN INDIA at present.

I own the aspire and I am not gonna lie about this that from bombay to bhavnagar in gujrat...which is a 630km trip...i got an average of 31kmpl with ac on half of the time that is.....with speeds of upto 80-100...seriously this car is a major underdog and feeling proud to own one

car runs good,proper mileage,enough room and everything is better,except for after sales services ford sucks big time in that sector....but let me ensure you in 4 meter sedan segment this car is better than anyother car....I have driven other cars as well but after this cars ownership experience ill say aspire rules!

Am a proud owner of New Ford Figo Titatinum Plus TDCi. Really its an excellent VFM car. I can say Ford is now trying a lot to make a customer feel like family by giving an excellent service. Here in HYD, the service guys are really good. So issues so far. The only -ve is the very minor rattles in rough roads. The 1.5 TDCi engine brings a verrrry big smile on your face, the every-time you floor it.

Bought this car same color same model and no .....it's not for the mileage, but for the gem of an engine! it's both brutal on power and frugal on appetite, depending how u drive. such an amazing car, it beats almost every car in its segment and even above it! Best ford to hit Indian roads, would suggest a tyre upgrade as a mandatory thing for best experience!

I recently took a test drive of a figo and guess what, it had the best interior feel and 1.5L engine just floored me with power. Maaaannnn, they have a winner on hand. Hell with the 1.3L underpowered Suzuki Baleno.

When I was a novice at driving, I drove (much carefully) figo petrol 2016 early morning from delhi to chandigarh at max speed of 90-95kmph and got a mileage of 21.5kmpl. Now a days, I drive faster and still gets 18-19kmpl on highways.

One idea !! drive all cars in competition in the same lane with you leading . this will give all figures of all the competition. accurately. (given at low speeds air drag is not a major factor). This will also assist other drivers following you to get better economy.

i tried this & it works , upto 60kmph 40kmpl, upto 80kmph 30kmpl ,upto 100kmph 20-25kmpl .even though its interesting ,it really is very hard to drive at such low speeds ,in 5 th gear the turbo picks up widout accelerator to 50kmph ,& da empty road & odd timings push ourselves because it has a big punch under da hood.i drove once above 160-180kmph & it emptied da tank like nothing ,bt i was surprised to da distance i covered. in de end dont go for maruti .

Guys the average speed he maintained is 45-50. On a national highway take any car(diesel), maintain speed between 45-50, don't rev up the engine hard, be gentle on the accelerator, then you would get very good fuel economy. You can achieve 45kmpl on swift. But believe me guys ford is a nice car. The quality is good compared to Maruthi, the sound system and ac in fords are very good, but the only drawback is ford doesn't have very good resale value.

Driving fast can reduce your fuel efficiency by up to 33% if you are travelling above 60 mph. It is best to change gears appropriately and match the gear and the RPM carefully. Changing the fuel filter on a regular basis will ensure that your car runs smoothly by letting only fuel into the engine instead of other residue from the tank and a clean air filter promotes better combustion which optimizes fuel economy. The tire pressure should be checked at least monthly because properly inflated tires can improve fuel efficiency by up to 3%. You can keep these things in mind while maintaining your car. +Tushar Bose If we talk about Aspire diesel performance, the 1.5-litre diesel makes a sprightly 100PS of max power and 215Nm of torque. This engine gets a new Getrag 5-speed gearbox too. Let’s talk about the diesel first. It retains its punchy nature and accelerates like a bullet as soon as the needle goes past the 1800rpm mark. Its acceleration is relentless and the 215Nm of torque makes itself felt in more ways than one. You can be in any gear and a gentle push on the throttle is all that’s needed to propel the car forward. Out on the highway, you can leave it in 5th and not worry about shifting down even if the speed drops to the lower fifties. You can also power out of corners in a gear higher than you normally would and the Aspire always responds with a bucketful of torque. The new Getrag transmission feels light and precise. Effort while shifting is minimal, though you do need to get used to the collar for putting into reverse. It is at its most versatile in third as it will pull from 30 to 110kmph with ease. It is equally comfortable sitting at triple-digit speeds and a dab of the right foot is enough to perform even the most unplanned of overtaking manoeuvres. It is still a treat to drive with ample torque at your disposal. With a tested mileage of 15.92kmpl in city, it marginally betters the already frugal Dzire (15.85kmpl) but falls behind on the highway at 19.52kmpl vs the Dzire petrol’s 20.90kmpl. If we understand you correctly, you are purchasing a new car from dealer's end. It might be the reason that, they are offering the year end discount, and you can go for it. But, do check it for scratches or damage during storage. Check the electricals too and look at the brake discs to spot rust (if any). Also, read the fine print to be sure that the warranty is valid from the date of delivery.

The claimed mileage for Petrol is 18.16 KMPL (Highway) and 14.68 KMPL (City). The mileage will vary in real conditions depending upon the driving conditions and vehicle maintenance.
