In Nagpur Maharashtra Provencial Wadi road after sales service is hopeless. But I took New Bolero b 6 o in October , it starts rusting in First mansoon only. I driven upto only 7000km. We have shade for car parking but..... I also got defected right side A/c vent which was broken I took my car in Provencial Wadi road service center they were replacing with other coustomer defected a/c vent.l, i lucky/ suddenly went to watch why they are taking 3 to 5 hours for replacement, i noticed that it was sticked with feviquick

@Prakrit Biswas until 2017 the Bolero was 4.2 meters. Mahindra then quietly chopped off 20 cm from it to make it a sub 4 meter because that & a 1.5 liter diesel mill means nearly 10% tax savings.

@Prakrit Biswas CAFE is international. Part of the EU1 to 6 emission standards. Followed in India as BS. In short CAFE requires that fuel efficiency of cars is increased by 30%. To achieve which car makers are replacing the mechanical gearbox with electrical motors to cope during the torque challenged regions of the ICE. Toyota's eCVT transaxle does just that. This technology is known as full hybrid. Costs are however yet to reduce. Mild hybrids are hence what we will begin with. Here an Integrated Starter Generator producing upto 4kgm torque takes over the drive during stalling speeds whereby allowing the ICE to waste it's idiling torque. This ICE is connected to a CVT which does not require a clutch for anything else. The drivetrain is hence free of the clutch interface. & No, this is not the mild hybrid found on Marutis of today. We allowed electronics to creep in. Now it's electric's turn. Mechanical purity is long gone my dear friend.

@Prakrit Biswas there is emission standards & then there is carbon footprint. They have to be dealt seperately. Even a full hybrid uses only a 1.5 kWh battery. Mild hybrids upto say, 0.6kwh. plugin hybrids require upto 10kwh battery. Full electric upto 30kwh battery. Ironically series hybrid requires only upto 1.5kwh battery. Capacitors substitute battery here. Unfortunately they are not as popular. The Nissan note is a production example. But even which does not use a Free Piston Linear Generator. Turbos come around at a time when the ICE has woken up. Electric motors in hybrids however provide assistance during the torque challenged regions of the ICE. Between turbo & electric motors, I would rather go with the later. Electric torque as u may know is instant.

Going through the comment section i found most of the People are asking for a 4x4 ... Here is a tip from my experience..Mahindra's 4x4 are not good.. they tends to dig deeper instead of pushing the vehicle outward/ forward... but if they add traction control to a 4x4 or traction control without 4x4 that bea whole different story.. And yes the interiors are out dated.. i really wish Mahindra put a little more effort especially on the bolero.
