Welcome back Cardfighters! I apologize for the long hiatus! Today's epic battle is between OminaGruzio and Bastion! Two of the top BT-12 decks that has been topping in Japanese events! OminaGruzio has the powerful ability to shut down triggers! Eliminating the opponent's luck when it comes to defensive triggers! While Bastion's ability to now give the units it restands drive check gives the deck even more power! Its the battle of Light and Darkness! Who will reign supreme?! Thanks for checking out the video! I love your reaction when you tried to increase a unit’s power from the crit trigger, btw how can I get the mat and the acrylic tokens? And do you have a cardfight video of using an D-SD06 Sealed Blaze Maiden, Bavsargra deck? I’m trying to practise using the deck to get used to the battle style of the deck against my friend’s Masque deck (Greedon Masque)

Question. Are you allowed to ride into grade 4 after a persona ride? I thought you were only allowed to ride once per turn unless effects state otherwise?

Yes, it's due to the effect of the grade 3 he called to back center which can superior ride Prime. You can only normal ride once per turn like you thought

I like this OminaGruzio deck. It got owls in it. It is hard for a possible new comer?

Depends on your budget. Other than triggers, the following are pieces you'll need for the deck: Dragontree Wretch Sherrider - You can get away with running few to none of these but you run the risk of bricking on Ruin Collector in the late game. You can just use 2 rg for vg skill, though Dragontree Wretch skull chemdah - This is inarguably a 3-4 of. You could risk running 2 if you have 4x Masque if Hydragum, but bricking on Masque kills the decks momentum irreparably. Thunder Queen Leimina - They run 3 here but I would never run more than 2. You can forego Leimina for other pieces also Steam Engineer, Peperi - The OP common synergy. Since only vg uses CB, and you should persona with Masque, you can build a lethal Misery Wing column that can't be sentineld. This forces your opponent to guard with triggers that have reduced shield. Without blitz order or ot, this usually can't be guarded. Other than these, the rest of the deck is in bt12 (Masque is also getting reprinted in 12.) There is a G2 that sb2 and gets +5k shield for every bound trigger (30k shield late game) which can be used over Leimina or Sherrider. Purple Cat Almethys is a powerful 1 of also. In short, if you can afford the aforementioned singles and a bt12 split, the deck is ripe to build.

@@Hansoap What, Masque? Masque is getting reprinted so price should go down, if only a little. Right now it's the only expensive mandatory card, second being Skull Chemdah at ~$7 USD (excluding elementaria ofc.) Leimina is a bit pricey but not necessary, I would happily run Peperi/Gunsmoke over her. Masque can also be 3 of with 3-4 chemdah. Dunno how the deck will cost in singles once bt12 drops but I don't imagine it will be too pretty. If you can afford a nation set from 50cards for bt12 and afford the rest of the singles, you'll be set with a fully built deck. You can make some budget cuts but 2 RRR and 2 RR from bt12 are mandatory 4 of.

Mistakes were made. Paddy should have focused his unit's attack on grandeur during their grade 2 turns because grandeur edge is a huge threat. Also, focusing on attacking the vanguard gives CP more counter blasts, which benefits him more than Paddy.

I like dark irregular but we have it dark states, but no sharhalot( miss link joker, miss shadow paladin, angel feather, nubatama, granblue, aqua force, but we have maelstrom and zorga, so so. But maybe this archetype come back soon, maybe.. and what is crazy I dont like bermuda, only first 2 seasons og vanguard, but next very bad actually, and we have lyrical nation. O my God.... nation with this cards😒😔

just to confirm. is that effect negate you from drawing and gain crit and power if you damage check a draw or crit trigger? If you cannot power yourself up from those damage trigger then this game is really suck. not to mention -5k shield on all guadian monsters while power yourself up. How the hell are we going to survive such an atk and effect like that. let's quit VG. Edited: I just watched that part and I saw hold up you can't power up from crit trigger. alright, let's quit vg.

Well you can't gain power due to Ominagruzio. But you can still draw from draw triggers, heal from heal triggers, etc. And yeah sealing triggers is nasty to deal with, but that doesn’t mean the deck will be meta (G series Valeos can seal power from triggers but wasn't meta).
