no, you can use multiple cards like 15k + 5k, or 10k + 10k, as long as the total original shield adds up to 20k or it's multiplier (40k, 60k, etc).

but you cannot use crit sentinel with 30k shield + another 10k shield, because the crit sentinel's original shield is above 20k, which is restricted by hope on damp. So as long as your original shield value per card doesn't exceed 20k, you can call multiples to GC, as long as the total shields are 20k / 40k / 60k etc
