There was alot good abput this fight, but I gotta highlight all the amazing OSTs in this episode and the timng of them that really set the mood of the fight. First, Hikari's new theme is gothic af, like the inevitable is coming and you don't have time to stop it. It's just so enchanting, so haunting, and I can't wait to see it next episode. Plus, there was also the theme that played after Akina recovered with Rezael's divine skill. was pretty intense. If I remember right, it sounded similar to th one that plays when they start their fated fights. Second, oh my goddess the animation. Every shot is Liael was beautiful, mysterious, and terrifying. She's got an amazing poker face, but you can feel her anger whenever she attacks, like she's pissed at her huaband's stupidity. Plus she's forming all these attacks and weapons out of this dust of despair. Third, Hikari had some of the coldest lines here. "Your turn won't come anymore. Big Bro.". That has Yuya/Yuto saying "There won't be a next turn!", vibes.

Well, they do have pretty similar divine skills, since they both effectively allow up to 6 attacks before your opponent’s turn. The difference between them is that Keter Sanctuary version binds rearguards to call the same unit, while the Dark States variant “absorbs” rearguards to gain an additional drive. But after either version’s first attack, that’s at least 3 less cards in your deck, so even though they use different methods, you’ll end up with similar results.

My theory on future hikari is either fated one of time brought her back to life for this, or maybe gabweluis had something to do with this. My main theory I’m running with is since future hikari wish was to save akina then technically the wish is never “fulfilled” if the timeline gets jacked up to where something happens to him which means him losing caused another chain reaction to where he potentially dies and so future hikari is basically in this paradox state where if akina is in danger she will be around to help him in some way

Beyond Order Dragon didnt get "end phase" after first battle, the effect trigger by drive check and damage trigger still intact if im not wrong. The end phase is perform AFTER second battle phase. Heritage & Mystery Flare is closer one, because they got additional turn after end phase.

So Liael=Odium is a high power 3 attacks deck without Divine Skill. It really does represent Hikari currently. Lots of pent up frustration leading to one explosive turn on the divine skill. Liael=Amorta has consistent 4 attacks with 6 attacks on the Divine Skill turn. Liael=Amorta also puts cards in bind zone to deck to pg an attack. Consistent, relentless, never stopping and never giving up. It represents the effort future Hikari took to save Akina. Next week is going to be good. Roast your brother to hell and back please someone needs to make him learn to care for himself. Bushi please give Liael=Amorta 2 RRR this set or 1 busted RRR support. The deck needs help a lot. At this point I think Kuon really is the one who's possessed by Sybilt. They're foreshadowing that he knows about the past so its not impossible for him to have everything set up before the fated showdown.

23:23 These last 2 weeks of wait were all worth it, all thanks to this 25:45 I love how Hikari behaved more like her season 1 in this segment In hindsight, seeing Hikari feel so much regret about how, from her perspective, Akina wasted his life trying to take care of her, and his personality becoming so devoted to her, would explain so much about Future Hikari from last season. After hearing he disappeared, and then was confirmed to have died, all for her sake, her survivor's guilt would have skyrocketed to high heavens. If anything, it makes you wonder why she didn't try to go further back in time to save Akina (and her past self) from that accident, so neither of them were elegible as Fated Ones. Also, I had to chuckle at Taizo seeing Hikari like that and probably feeling nostalgic about Future Hikari. And Akina, after hearing her reasons, probably thought "why you always have to be so stuborn?! both of you" Now I have to wonder, where has Future Hikari been all this time if she wasn't erased from existence? We saw her half-vanishing near S1... did Sylbit's "Destined Shodown" spell accidentally saved her life? I really want to see her interact with Present Hikari. In particular, because all this time i have been thinking "it is such a massive waste that present hikari never interacted with her AT ALL". I guess its time to rectificate that.

So let’s get this straight, the divine skill from Liael Odium allows you to repeat your turn [While having a set number of cards in your regress gauge.] in exchange for skipping your main and ride phase. There is a downside to this but at the same time, that’s kinda of messed up. I love Akina and his deck, don’t get me wrong but it was genuinely overdue for a loss and I knew he would lose but not like this. 😮🙂‍↕️🤣 And to think that Future Hikari would reappear but it also really caught me off guard and makes the next episode even more fascinating to watch considering the context and subject material between those two are incredibly interesting. Theory time: What if the cave (they stumbled upon when they were younger) inside a ruin deep in the woods were the ruins from the original timeline where Suo wished for everything to disappear? The siblings, or at least Hikari, probably didn't get lost in the woods, but instead traveled through time for a brief moment.

The ruins are most likely related to Gyze... Maybe it's either one of the areas where Gyze's goons experimented on "Relics" or where Ryuzu Myojin did the "depend card" summoning thing. The "10 years ago" plot is also when G series started so it kinda makes sense and with Sybilt's case where Gabwelius and Jinki suspected that she possessed someone. That method is no other that diffride (Different World Ride) which it happens during GZ.

Oh my God. That is the best Plot Twist for this situation. Future vs Past. Both have the same Wish: To save their Brother. Btw Liael Odium is Gear Chronicle afterall huh. It’s borderline broken. Divine Skill brings back 1 turn, no main phase, drive minus one, but that is nothing since her Order can bring back rear guard and Liael skill gets her triple drive regardless 😅🤣😅. Meaning almost no demerit. Thats Insane.

😅 Her order can't bring back rgs! Her order will power up Odium and front row. It's g3 own skill that he called himself back from the Timepiece by putting a card from drop to replace himself. Main phase was not given to Odium because of this skill. Unlike Beyond Order that repeat main phase and attack phase. Beyond Order is better overall, but they can't give new generation cards the same effect for some reason, since it's considered broken.

HOLY F, THAT IS WHAT I CALL AN EPISODE: 1. hikari is mad at herself, because she thinks its her fault for akina losing his childhood 2. masanori goofy yet serious (it's kinda odd for senka not physically retaliating, i kinda want her to for fanservice. bcos, she is misaki and masanori is shin) 3. masanori and jinki are plotting together 4. odium is basically beyond order without additional main phase. 5. akina ain't a mole, meaning it was dark timeline hikari 6. kuon is the most sus, he's playing a masanori move i know it 7. this ep deserves to be called ep 7, for the fact that dark timeline hikari is back (reason why?, maybe something happened when she dissapeared back in s1 finale. maybe gear chronicle asked amorta to help the fated ones against the destined.) 8. this is peak vanguard fanservice, we get a amorta vs odium fight (ironically both of them mean love and hate respectively). why am i saying peak fanservice, any og knows how good the dynamic of both blaster blade and blaster dark (corrupt aichi vs kai fight) and present vs future (leon vs IF leon, refer to link joker arc in original series). the team working on divinez season 2 are nailing it, keep up the good work. 9. oh, i can't wait for the look on the destined ones faces when there greatest ally is their greatest enemy at the same time, and being told about the "dark timeline"

I'm not super well-versed in competitive Vanguard, but iirc they haven't had a single meta relevant deck since Chronojet, and before that the only meta relevant deck they had was Violence Bruce. Maybe Drajeweled Ignis was relevant I'm not 100% on that. But outside of those three they've been consistently mid (again I could be wildly off base) If we want to talk nations that are just generally strong, top spot would have to go to Keter, because Keter Pile go brr.

...Mind-blowing, that's it Spoilers: Everything about the cardfight went right off my head the moment that Future Hikari just came in and said "I'm the real Liael user and yours is just a replica." This caught me by surprise so much I was speechless throughout the ending portion of the episode and had to collect my bearings for minutes before writing this comment. Understandable that Future Hikari is qualified as a Fated One since she did participate in the second Fated Clash and is considered as the "seventh Fated One" and participated in the Alternate Fated Clash, but one important question, HOW THE *BEEP* IS SHE BACK!? Because we literally see her vanish because of the timeline change. Two theories: First, Gabwelius, I don't know what method he used, because throughout the match we literally don't see him (ignore this part, he's there, guess the backlash from the reveal was still strong that I just forgot), so he was doing something that made it possible to bring Future Hikari back. Two, remember the theory about who got possessed by Sylbilt, if Hikari or at least Future Hikari really was the vessel for Sylbilt, I think what happened was that when the design Force that was collected and brought Sybilt back as a plushy, I have a feeling that it along with the same desire as current Hikari literally was the construct that brought Future Hikari back. Right, right, the cardfight Akina was "Destined" to lose his "Showdown" (badum tss) and Liael=Odium's ability is basically like any gear chronicles ability to get extra turns, fitting since most of the rear guards that Hikari uses are GC-esque. Finally one thing I do notice between Hikari and Future Hikari. (I want people to read this part specifically) Both have that desire to change the past but both have different times to change. But one detail stuck out to me, Future Hikari could've also done the same thing Hikari is trying to do right now, but why didn't she do it though, one thing Future Hikari has accepted and love herself despite her condition and she wants to change time to be with Akina, and avoid zero thus Liael=Amorta, then current Hikari loathes herself and thinks that it's her fault for Akina being the way he is now, despite Akina's desire to just protect her, she wants to change time to avoid the accident from the past. She hated the fact that she got into an accident and she hates Akina for just being the way he is thus Liael=Odium (which means "hatred towards one's actions"). I think this is poetic for the next fight. Next is the deciding match of the Destined Showdown, Future Hikari VS Current Hikari. Future Hikari is more experienced than Current Hikari as we saw with Future Hikari's fight against Akina, and I have a feeling that Liael=Amorta is gonna get a similar order to the one Current Hikari uses in order to even out the playing field.

Something I notice is that the whole vibe of liael odium and how it fight is different from amorta! It felt more reckless desperate, and contain so much malicious. To achieve a goal As opposed to amorta where it was a lot more tactical and calculating. To follow it resolve Liael odium is more offensive where amorta is more defensive Which also a reflection of the fighters Current hikari seem to be doing more out of a sense of atonement in the way she trying to help Akina is “I have to make it up to him” As opposed to future hikari reason where more at least to me was a sense of resolve “ I want to save and help him have a future” Which is honestly a good reflection of how they probably felt. Something else is the dark clothes vs the halo. I feel like the dark clothes on future hikari show that she been in the dark reality and she carrying and accepting it part of her While the halo show current hikari is carrying but also rejecting all the pain she felt. That she feel like she taking on everything And also why future hikari is probably an even better person to understand and maybe get through to current hikari. Cause ofc when Akina says, she’ll just think “ofc you say that because you had to” I think in the next fight kinda like what Akina did for future hikari getting her to accept and come support him. Future hikari will get current hikari to accept and maybe even forgive herself!

According to story line, Future Hikari will defeat Present Hikari. That means Amorta should get one heck of support to pull that off. Odium is very broken despite having 3 attacks as base. She has front row power up like Impauldo and 10k for herself like Blandgmire. The TCG deck will be obviously much more broken then anime version, since there are tons of ways to draw and guard restraint.

Odium is pure power creep, she gave front row for each order in Timepiece plus +10k to herself. Can't forget that fact that DS has a very evil guard restraint. Plus a g3 that can seal sentinels.

No guard for Odium and heal with Rezael's Divine. That way he could definitely survive Hikari's additional turn with pg.
