This new series is so exciting! It's nice to go back to the beginning. :) I'm surprised a few of the VA's changed like Misaki and Morikawa, but their new actors are doing well. I'm glad Aichi and Kai are back though, because James Beach and Ryan Luhning are practically iconic in those roles at this point!

I miss Miwa's voice especially, but the actor still did a fairly decent job. Other than a couple awkward deliveries with the acting, it sounds pretty good! Certainly a lot better than Vanguard G's dub. I look forward to the new actors improving their skills as they continue on. Even the original cast wasn't as good when the original series first started.

Is it just me... Or do I like the original version better? Like I get it, they're rebooting the entire series and it's nice that they start from the very beginning, but it kinda lacks the elements that make me wanna continue watching the episodes. Honestly, I'm cringing rn. Kai is supposedly this cold-as-ice kinda guy, not really caring about anything but being the best, Miwa is indeed a chill guy, but in this case he's become hyper which makes me miss the previous Miwa, Morikawa is even more annoying than before, yet Aichi is still this quiet boy just like the previous version, but he is also not as timid as before, like if my memory serves me correctly, he didn't just barge in Card Capital and demanded Morikawa return his card, he went up to their table and timidly asked for it back. And Miwa didn't even win Blaster Blade and it was supposed to be Kai's. So in conclusion, I like the previous version more. Especially the Link Joker series.

I liked the previous one too... But with the crazy addition of all those cards, they have to make an easier way to introduce the game to new players without watching the full couple hundred episodes to get to where the game is now. Honestly, is it just me, but even though Kai and Aichi have the same voice actors, the acting seems to be of a worse quality somehow? The original seemed more natural but this just seems awkward at times.
