I dont have to imagine, i live in Nz, where healthcare is universal,medication is dirt cheap, wages are tied to inflation, unions have strength at negotiating, and university has intrest free loans, first year tuition free. Where Oil companies have had future exploration just recently bannned, no nuclear power, our air, drinking water is clean. Where most of our cops dont even carry guns,restrictions and long wait times means homicides by gun are one per MILLION.Where school massacres dont exist. Where govt gives me a guaranteed pension, where if my home is damaged by natural disaster or myself by accident i get govt compensation. Where social housing and social welfare for all,education is a priority, military is a small, minority funding issue.

Snapdragon 9600 That's greatly naive, thinking a President could deliver on all their campaign promises. Remember how much difficulty Obama had trying to pass...anything? Heck, look at the barriers Trump has been dealing with, even with a Republican majority. And even if that weren't an issue, you'd still run into huge budgeting problems - all that free stuff doesn't come from nowhere. The only way to pay for all the new programmes is raising taxes, and guess how people always react to that?

And you can't slash the defense budget just like that because that would mean tonnes of people suddenly becoming unemployed. Plus, the US still has to pay for NATO and are obligated to provide military support to its allies.
