I was honestly shocked she did the AD because when I think of Cardi I don’t think of SHEIN. I think of high fashion because she has been embraced by the fashion houses and she looks stunning every single time. However, I see her more as an influencer at heart who happens to drop music from time to time, like she gets participation points in the rap game which is why billboard listed her at #10 for this year for top female rap artists. You can drop a few singles and they make the charts but we want full bodies of work. Until she can give that, she will remain an influencer who participates in rap from time to time.
