I don't think anyone denies Cardi's story what people do question which is very valid is how fast she was pushed to the literal "top" with a bare minimum skillset and how she still to this day is mentioned in conversations with the greats when she doesn't write her own music, doesn't sonically rap that well, never toured and has ONE album out. You can not sit here and tell me there wasn't an agenda behind Cardi wither she is aware of it or not. Atlantic saw her as a way to "level" the playing field in a market that was heavily dominated by another female.
