I gotta say I judged her unfairly at first. I thought she was naive or ignorant of the image she sometimes portrayed. Or that she didn’t care. Which , as a female who was ignorant and naive of my own influence at one time, it just rubbed me the wrong way. Until I heard an interview where she was asked abt it. The interviewer asked her “I know you’ve had to do some degrading things that maybe you don’t agree with now. Would you take any of it back? Does the money make you happier? “ Now , the interviewer asked in a tone that wasn’t hateful or anything. And cardi responded in the most genuine way… she said “no, I definitely was happier before. But I wouldn’t take any of it back. Because it gives me so much joy and happiness to get to treat my family and loved ones to the life the deserve to have”. It BLEW MY MIND. doesn’t help that she had tears in her eyes the whole time too(which made me emotional to watch) . She changed my perspective on so many things in life and that interview I always remember when I need to remind myself not to assume that I know anyone’s motives! ❤❤❤❤
