Wonderful car! I’ve got an 07 9-3, but these older classic Saabs are even cooler. Great video too, really shows what sitting inside the car during a drive is like. I’d love to see more videos of this car in the future!

there is absolutely no way for transmission from a 9000 to fit into a 900. transmissions of 900 are mounted under the engine and transmissions of 9000 are mounted to the side of the engine.

Very very watchable video!!!! Gives me the real feel of SAAB! Oh, and don't you dare crash this car! Also, love your advice for living. I drive my SAAB 900 in the mountains of western Pennsylvania. Great scenery there too!

Loads of fun to watch and ride along with you. I felt like I was in the passenger seat while you were telling your stories. I love the look of the Saab 900 classic cars. I want to own one in the future and I hope the prices don’t start to hike in me. I also want a convertible 5 speed but I want a red car. It is my opinion that these are some of the most beautifully designed cars to have ever been built.

As mentioned, the classic 900s never shared transmissions with the 9000.

Very sorry to hear about your father, that's a great dad story about meeting the two women in the park in San Pedro. I once had a '96 Saab 900 SE, which may have lost some of its Saab-ness by that time, but it was a fun, practical sporty sedan that I remember fondly.

I advise you to retrofit your manual with a short shifter from Modern Classic Saab. Shifts are much more positive and direct.

Honestly I loved driving my 1990 900 Turbo Convertible with the three speed auto. It's still my favorite car I've ever had. So enjoy it while you've got it!
