Harsh on Slade he might be a cheap option but he was better than Solskjaer who was an expensive option

Mark Hudson, Steve Morison and Paul Trollope interm/coaches given the managers job under Tan

In Slade's defence - he was brought in to 'clean up' after Ole (though more realistically clean up after the board had sanctioned some silly transfers). He said "we're not shopping at Harrods' and people flipped. Considering how much we spent on Cornelius and others, including a 4yr deal for Caulker who left on relegation. He did keep us up but with lack of trust in the market / financial support he was never going to last long. Trollope has a short burst but again it was the same 'rejects' which then led to Warnock coming in and steadying it.

What is needed is an experienced manager who turn around a struggling side, use skill full players and bring in young players. David Moyes would fit the bill but may cost too much. Tony Maybury has more championship experience but may have health issues. David Shumacker seems to tick most boxes. Omar Risa could be an answer but little actual management experience. Overall David Shumacker seems the strongest choice available.

The hierarchy are busy scratching their chins, if Rizza wins tonight, it will delay it all further. Proactive they are not, personally I think if you want to stay up there's only one man, Warnock.

For me I’d like to see Nathan Jones but his comments today suggest it won’t be him. I can see Tan sticking with Riza for now
