Hello my friend... I am sitting here enjoying some rice cakes with gouda, sipping on a coke zero.. Yup... that's my supper. I spent all afternoon baking cookies for hubby, and I'm worn out. He was able to fend for himself having leftover meatloaf, mashed red potatoes, green beans and gravy. You just made me laugh out loud.. seriously..... you really did. I'm sitting here watching... enjoyed your train ride, and now you're about to enter the music store. And what did you do? You turned left against the arrow.. hahaha. Thanks for the laugh, as I needed it after listening to our depressing news.. ha I love your shopping centre, with foot traffic only. I find those shopping areas nice to shop and then finding benches to sit and watch people, while resting your feet or back. You found the perfect little spot for your picnic for 1. Awww, good. I do know our govts have been doing lots of financial bail-outs to many people hit financially by the pandemic. How this is going to work out in the long run, I don't know, but for now it's keeping a lot of our heads above water. I'm sure this is not the case for everyone and I feel incredibly fortunate to be managing OK. I count my blessings every day.

If it wasn't for all the infernal glitching and the not brilliant internal mic, it would be the perfect camera. Has yours been glitching at all since the firmware update? Mine keeps crashing and freezing, refusing to turn on and, when charging, sometimes turns itself on and off. I don't know if it does it at other times, but I tend to be sitting near by when it's charging, so I notice. I think I'm going to have to send this one back, too. I hope not because I love it. I already wouldn't want to be without it. How does the inbuilt mic compare to the add-on one you bought, volume-wise? It's a pain to have to hand-tweak the volume of every clip up to match that of the Sony when I mix footage from both cameras. I haven't mastered decent GoPro footage in my dingily lit house yet, so use the Sony at home as default.

@@PlanetImo Sorry to hear you are having continuous issues with yours ! Since I updated mine the only issues I have had are that sometimes after I have charged it and when I remove said cable it wont switch on ? I just either hold both power on and record for more than 10 secs then let go that normally fires it into life , failing that I just hit the record button and that sometimes works . Otherwise its removing the battery out then back in which is a pain. Regarding the media mod mic system I find that the audio comes out just fine and that I find I have to reduce my Canon audio to match that of the gopro lol Have you tried a factory reset but take note of your settings first , this might help but think you might have do the firmware update again. Is it version 1.22 you are running at the moment. The next firmware update has been pushed back to dec now !

Ooh thank you. Well, my firmware is up to date and my SD is on the approved list, but I've followed the instructions to reformat the SD and I'll see how we go with that tomorrow... what a pest! This is consecutive attempt #3 for me to get a wide angled, gimbal-smooth camera on the go this year - Failed attempt #1 was a Fimi Palm. I bought all sorts of extra bits to try to get it working and ended up having to send it back. That was an audio issue and it wouldn't work with an external mic either so no good.

Yes. It's much better for you than ordinary soy sauce. There's another version called tamari and that's similar but I think that's gluten free or something.

What I do is to turn off my autio and play music over the clips. If the sound is important, I can duck the audio and lift the mike channel.

I must admit, I need to hear real ambient sounds in order to fully engage with what I'm watching. I do realise I'm in the minority though! But anyway, that's my kind of USP on this channel - the only music is integral to the plot and usually live. I guess you could say I am intentionally old-school in that respect. I did used to get quite a bit of wrath when I worked as a supermarket cashier, years ago. I used to manage to keep quite calm and be relatively caring and empathetic, I think...?
