TE833 sounds really Healthy. I love the fact the Trident can sing into 3rd gear. Ive noticed a few times that TE833 keeps jerking. ZF don’t jerk right? Also do some Tridents have default top speed since new or is it down to the operator to decide how fast the bus can go. A top speed for a Tridents in my opinion should be around 62 to 65mph

Yeah a very competent bus this one! ZFs don’t really jerk, they just tend to slip quite a bit as they age more and more. Yeah regarding the Top Speed, I know 👌🏾

These Metroline buses have POWER! What a good run, keep it up! I'm so glad Cardinal managed to buy off some ex-Metroline buses for scrap value, they sound so healthy even for them being 16 years old!

Yeah the ones that left London because of ULE didn’t get trapped to Euro 6 so there’s no real performance loss with them! Thanks! And yeah I’m sure they’ve profited off these 👌🏾

I'm not a big fan of the ZF transmission, but this one is on point!!. Honestly it would have been better if it had the Allison transmission

That’s all we’re used to! There are single decker buses with the Cummins ISB6.7 and Allison gearbox but they’re not very common near London

The 1st gear kickdown then downshift 3-2 normally induces the revs to nearly 2500rpm
