Tama si Apong Ambo! The Cardinal designation is no promotion because he already is a Bishop - which is the highest hierarchical rank in the Church since the first century. Being designated a Cardinal conotes additional responsibilites as close collaborators of the Bishop of Rome. But he notes that he is the only cardinal in a suffragan diocese, i.e. a he is not an Archbishop. This may not be for long because Archbishop Joe Palma is retiring come March 2025, and it will not be impossible that he maybe heading south. Ok ra ba, akong mga igsoon nga visaya?

He is better to be Archbishop of Manila bec he is a Tagalog..Cardinal Advincula is going to retire also in 3 yrs time. But there comes be a possibility that he can be transferred to Cebu.
