I listened closing to see when the speaker would mention or quote the Bible. 45 minutes till he spoke about the Bible.!!!! The Catholic mass has way more Bible in it than any Bible church service.

If and when the Church pays out large amounts of money to compensate victims they are left with decisions to close parishes. Those parishes with churches, schools, ,etc. were built on faith, by dedicated clergy and laity who sacrificed so much. Now they have lost this. So these abuses affect so many more than just the victim and family.

Vincent Fitzpatrick we need an explanation. This is a behavior that has been there for more than decades. The Catholic Faith a very beautiful faith. What does one do now with the doctrine of Confession, Holy Communion. Sermons and Morals. Do they realize how devastating this is to the faithful psychologically? I feel that we are the lost sheep of Jesus not knowing which direction to go. Our Sheppards have betrayed us in so many ways with lies, pedophile, arrogance and so on and so forth...... I am so heartbroken that whenever I think about it all I want to do is to cry. We are all throwing stones at McCarrick and it is humanly correct. Have we ever try to decipher where and how did he get there? Throughout these 60 years , have ever thought that he may have tried to pull himself from this mess, however, he was probably so severely abused that he could not do it and totally gave up all hope and went on with his daily works. I was infuriated when I learned about it. But I did asked the Holy Spirit for guidance cause all I wanted to do is to walk away from my Faith and to NEVER LOOK BACK. I did get some answers. We cannot give victory to the fallen angels. The Catholic Church must and need to uproot and clean thoroughly what had been wrongfully ingrained and nourished in the Faith for centuries and hidden throughout these Eras. Without a doubt God has never asked and grant the authority to the Clergy to harm our children, and mislead and mistreat us in any kind of ways. Justice is what we ask, and not praise McCarrick for the works he did. The more they show his accomplishments the more hurts take place in our hearts. This is the perfect time to correct the long time of wrongdoings. If he is not in jail then all child molesters incarcerated should be set free. The money spent on lawsuits could definitely be used to alleviate the sufferings of the disadvantaged.

A good friend of mine who has been a priest for over 20 years told me that everyone in the clerical circles of the Catholic Church knew about his abuse and the repeated sexual involvement with seminarians. The American Cardinal Kevin Farrell said that he had no idea McCarrick was doing or had done those things. Cardinal Farrell either chose not to know or is just lying at this point. It amazes me that after all that has happened in the Church regarding the sexual abuse scandal, you have morons like Farrell acting shocked that such a thing was going on with one of his brother Cardinals. These are the people Francis needs to purge from the Vatican inner circle.

But to be there for them until they find relief with their problems and sickness and whatever it may be Visit them or build communities that can help doing this task. This should be for all and not a for handful of people and leaving the rest in the cold and despised them ..the list is quite long and exhaustive The faithful are also able to assist in spiritual workd supporting the Clergy. Some of the faithful are pretty strong in making their daily prayers and at a specific time. Certain prayers can be made at a specific time during the day or night. Others can be made in a form of repetitions for seven or nine days or more until the Grace us received. Thede people should be used instead of being discarded as if they were yesterday's newspaper ......I bet if these groups had been formed and used while observing the rule of discretion praying for the Clergy Priests all tmscandals related to the spirit of lust couple with severe human degradation would have decreased greatly. As a Catholic I have prayed for some of the Clergy before. And i did see some very positive results. However my praying does not stop when God's graces fall down. Their names are forever engraved while praying the Rosary and the Divine Mercy Prayer alone at 3:00,pm or 3,:00am just imagine if we could add more people doing that in addition to what already exist. When the hands are numerous, the burden light. Jesus please HELP!

You're correct. I cannot tolerate HIS molestation. No parents can stand still when their children are harmed in any kind of way.
