Imagine striking out 14 and your team still loses...

Glad Jack did great! I'm also glad the cardinals won. I like the small ball we don't need home runs

The Cardinals can thank Detroits manager for the win. Terrible relief management. Goldie hasn’t hit a low outside slider since the middle of 2023 so lets throw him a fast ball right down central. Pure genius.

Always liked Jack, its cool to see him doing well. Too much complaining going on it's still early, I've seen this club do amazing turnsrounds , if they lose today then whine

Cards got lucky. Then got smoked. No consistency at the plate is killing them this year.

Nice game Jack. But no matter what, from here on out, I got nothing but respect for Kyle muthaf#$kin Gibson. Man deserved that win. Glad the team got it for him.

Traded Jack for Cesar Prieto, Drew Rom & Jack Showalter. Some of mozeliak's best work

1. Jack hasn't been that great so far this season. This was just one great start 2. Jack was terrible last year and the year before and has been battling injuries the past 3-4 years. What was he supposed to get for a trade?
@jimadams87954 ай бұрын
@@nickfrigillana2645 unfortunately u can never predict injuries, esp w pitchers, but u can always predict we'll dump starters for prospects to save money. Weak starters = no hope

Cardinals made a comeback the first game but lost miracles in the second game.

Can't we just send mozeliak to Springfield?

cards need some momentum. there's a painful lack of consistency in both batting and pitching.

YOWZA !!!! Peeps, Manager of the Year Oliver Jose Marmol and his St. Louis Cardinals (the GREATEST team in the league) are like LL COOL J ... "don't call it a comeback." NO DOUBT the squad TAKES the NL Central, MAKES the postseason once again and in five/six months (depending on when the games are in October/November), POURS CHAMPAGNE and HUDDLES around that TWELFTH World Series championship! CHILLS UP AND DOWN MY SPINE during that top of the ninth inning! First, Alec Michael Burleson, the 25-year-old from Charlotte, North Carolina, makes me a BURLIEVER with a game-tying RBI single to right field, driving in co-Most Valuable Player of the League, Nolan James Arenado. Then, Pedro Jose Pagés, the 25-year-old from Maracay, Venezuela, BLASTS the classic sacrifice fly to center field, bringing in co-MVP Paul Edward Goldschmidt! Folks, a CY YOUNG AWARD-esque performance today by Kyle Benjamin Gibson. The 36-year-old from Greenfield, Indiana collects NINE fine strikeouts! MAD PROPS go to Matthew Joseph Liberatore and Ryan Dalton Helsley, both part of the best bullpen in the league, for the FEROCIOUS defense. TIME TO FLY !!!!!! #12in24

Managers and analytics. The kid was dealing, now skipper can chalk up a loss.
@GammaRho554 ай бұрын
Too bad he lacks the ability or motivation to pitch like that consistently. Otherwise, he'd still be in STL.
@edwardyocca59104 ай бұрын
Give Marmol 20 more years on his contract, the results will be the same! One lucky win means shit!! Flaherty wanted to stay a Cardinal!! Time for ownership to wake the eff up!!!!

Until Moz and the rest of the front office bums go along with the current coaching, we'll continue to suck. Look at all the players we traded and look what they're doing on other teams. Obviously the front office and coaching is poisonous. Blatantly obvious!!
@MyGunz694 ай бұрын
Alec Burleson better not get platooned and benched against LHP once Carlson comes back. That solidifies Marmol as the dumbest manager in the league by a mile. This is a move STL has to get correct considering they are the worst organization in baseball when it comes to developing offense.
