I’m very touchy with my friends and find it important to be close enough with all of my friends to at least hold hands or cuddle(if they want ofc) but at the same time I dislike being touched or friends just coming of and hugging me,if I ask them then I’m fine with it but if they ask me and I say I’m not in the mood then yknow listen to that. I’m not sure if it’s cause I like to be In control of who’s touching me or smth but it’s definitely stressful being touch. I’m aromatic but love doing ‘romantic’ kind of gestures in platonic ways, which was extremely hard when I was in a relationship cause the hugs and hand holding and cuddles no longer felt platonic. We were in a queerplatonic relationship so it was so strictly platonic stuff (in our eyes) I battled my feelings quite a bit back then and only recently realized I was somewhere on the Aro spectrum. We both broke up due to unrelated things and have recently started hanging out again so not all bad came from it. I have recently gotten to the point where one day in class a newer friend asked if I could sit on their lap cause the needed some physical touch, I agreed ever so hesitantly but after left feeling better than ever, it didn’t feel Romantic or even feel anything but platonic. Regardless of the fact we were in a class full of people(It was my yearbook class and we’re all practically a big family) it was a big step and I’m glad I took it :> This was a fabulous audio keep up the good work! ❤️❤️
