I love it when you show other ways to use the die sets. I haven't the spinner set and cannot wait to try this!

Genius! Love your videos, Karen! You explain things so well in a step by step fashion and I have paused/played your videos and made incredible cards alongside you! This little snowman is so cute, of course you need a window to see him peeking out! This is great, just in time for the holidays!

Really cute dies a little too complicated for me to make but I sure enjoyed watching you make it.

Virginia, I am soooo instruction-challenged but I was able to make the Snowman Twist card. I confess that it took me awhile to get it right, but once I did, I felt like Superwoman and the friends I sent it to were absolutely thrilled to get it (and have told me they're keeping it). I used plain stock to experiment with the assembly pieces, then when I had it worked out I switched to my real stock (heavier stock for the mechanism, just like Karen suggested in that video). Trust me, if I can do this, ANYONE can do this--just be patient with yourself, mark the x's like Karen does and make notes for yourself if you need to (I did).

Thanks for the encouragement @@UsernameBarbF. I will think about it. I have challenges with use of my hands also, so I have to really work at doing thing that are complicated. I will watch the video again and think about it. again thank you for your kind encouragement.

@@vlawton100 Virginia, the most important things (in my humble opinion) is that you have fun with this hobby and that you stay in touch with people through the cards you make and the conversations those cards generate. If a card making technique causes you pain, then skip that one. It's the reaching out and letting those you care about know you cared enough to make them a card. Good luck to you!

I would LOVE to buy the spinner die set, but i always get clobbered by Customs which then overprices whatever it is i bought. I wonder please, if you have UK suppliers of this die set? I so need this! Thanks in anticipation. XTIBBYX

Yep! Crafts U Love in Surrey carries our line. There's also a lovely feature of our dies in Issue #45 of Die-Cutting Essentials magazine, which is out in stores now.

🤔I think u mean DYES (color) and not DIES (as in dead).

Lisa, this wins the internet! In all seriousness it is a little jarring to see my products advertised as "Karen Burniston Dies" - definitely gives me a cold chill for a second. But alas, I was not the one who decided the spelling of metal crafting dies (nor their more common shorthand of simply "dies") but merely a designer of said product. Now, if you want to get on me for my decision to spell Card Making as one word - go right ahead. That's one of those y'all/ya'll debates that I'm sure we can solve on the internet!
