I considered it thoroughly (like 1-2 minutes) but decided goyf could handle the board on his own which has the upside of keeping Damn for a large threat like Glorybringer. It didn't play out well obviously, but 🤷‍♂️ Edit: also huge upside of sniping whatever Carl drew with inquisition

@@henrikstridh9891 Oof, yeah. If there was another White shockland in the list I think it would be the play, but unfortunately for white fetchable sources there was only Godless Shrine (already on the battlefield), Indatha Triome (enters tapped), and Plains (which Verdant Catacombs cannot get).

It's supposed to, actually. "At the beginning of your precombat main phase". The judge call should be for the times it was done *before* the draw :)

I dont mean to be "that guy", because it doesnt really even matter in the context it happened but may help in the future... Klothys passive/static ability actually triggers at the beginning of the precombat MAINPHASE, not at the beginning of the turn/upkeep because you seemed to do that (you exiled a card in gy before drawing based on the footage no? or was it edited like that???

You need to draw first, Klothys triggers at the beginning of your pre combat main phase. The ability to generate mana by exiling a land would be almost useless otherwise, since mana expires between phases, and you can choose to get the mana if you need it to play the card you just drew. On the last turn of game one, you even forgot the Klothys trigger entirely...

@@jaminkauf6242 Thanks for the explanation! I did like the IoK for whatever gas spyro drew him but you had enough mana to do that first, see he had drawn nothing, then proceed to play your verdant fetching for godless shrine to overload damn. Love this series, keep up the good work! :)

so i excitedly went on karma crows page to look for my standard and modern cards i need and found while yes they have most cards i need basically every card has a huge premium to them in price. whats the point on saving shipping when the individual cards are almost twice the price as the next lowest seller from the uk let alone europe. i get you need sponsers but i feel advertising them as a way to save is disingenious :/
