Love the beginning with you and your daughter. I still have the Packtalk Bold. I had both devices paired to my Indian as well. That is a huge victory for Cardo to get HD.

Not sure I learned anything here. Have the Packtalk Bold. I’ve got 3 mobile units connected thru 2 devices. Cardo says it can’t be done. Well…yes it can. Enjoy your rides.

Sooooo, when I crash... will my garmin, my phone and my cardo all do an emergency call? Will that be a group conference?

Well technically your phone will call emergency services and your Garmin and Cardo will send a text message to your emergency contact. Most importantly none of these technologies will do these things 100% of the time so it is likely that only one or two of those things will take place. The less redundancy in technology the more likely NONE of those things take place.

so crash detection and 45mm speakers. are the 45mm speakers better over the 40mm? the pro is $60 over the edge and the speakers are $90 to add them to the edge.

I think so but it's certainly subjective. The other benefit is the automatic shut off when you take your helmet off which is really nice.

So Goldwing rider here. If you connect the phone to your Edge and the motorcycle and the Edge to the motorcycle then Android Auto or Apple Carplay doesn't work. My buddy with a 2022 Pursuit has the same issue. So would this negate AA/Carplay or crash detection??? Thanks

Am I the only one who has issues fitting anything larger than the 40mm speakers in my helmet? When I had my bold, I had to actually dig out some of the Styrofoam around the speaker channels in my scorpion helmet, to fit the bigger speakers. I REALLY don't want to do that on my shoei neotec 2.......but I'd really like my Cardo edge to be louder (hard to hear with earplugs and wind noise)

If you're using wired Carplay/AA, you aren't "pairing" to the bike.

For most people I would say no unless you just have to have the latest and greatest. The auto on/off is REALLY nice, crash detection is something you either know you want or don’t. Otherwise the sound quality (if you upgrade your edge to the 45mm speakers) is just as good. I only know that because after few years of riding either the edge, I blew a speaker and just bought the 45’s.

I’ve been debating about getting this with my new Shoeii RF-1400 helmet. I’ve never had a Cardo. The cardo edge is on sale at Amazon for $300. Do you think the Pro is worth the $$ upgrade to that?

I would say the edge at $300 is the way to go unless you really want crash detection OR plan on upgrading speakers to the larger 45mm then the tables tilt the other direction.

Just curious, you said that while in a group chat and you get a call it’ll pause your group chat then resume after the call ended. So will it still allow you to play music while in a group chat or not?

Yes you can listen to music while in a groupchat and only you will hear the music

​@@Delzona Just buy a cardo. GF used to always be a Sena fan then bought a cardo because everyone she rides with has one. She'll never go back to a Sena now. Plus atleast when you do a firmware update with Cardo it doesn't brick your damn $300 Sena 🤷... Yeaaaa... Senas own code and update bricks their products and make it a damn paperweight OH and it's covered under a warranty if you still have it but it'll be 2 weeks before your new one arrives. Stop buying Sena

did you pair to bike and phone and intercoms still work. if so exactly how did you connect everything . i cant get my edges intercom to work if im paired to bike and phone
