"Done" Have been a Cardo user for a while now, ive had an Slim and now on a edge. met some Cardo Staff at a local bike night in Fowlers (Bristol) very helpful chaps and had a good laugh with them too, very knowledgeable. I wont be moving from Cardo.

I have the original Cardo motorcycle helmet system it must be 15 + years old now it still works. This unit is light years ahead, crash detection mode is a fantastic safety addition. ✌🏻done.

Just bought the Cardo Packtalk Pro today and installed it in my new Shoei Neotec 3. I almost bought the Sena SRL 3 but after A LOT of research I decided to stay away from the helmet specific Sena and go with what I thought was the best system. I am coming from the old wired Autocomm which was great in its day but all I can say so far about the sound quality of the Cardo Pro and 45mm JBL speakers is WOW. I have never had audio like this in a helmet. I will be taking my first long trip of the season next week. I can't wait to put the Cardo Pro through a thorough shakedown.

The ultimate solution for attaching to Shoei helmets (GT-AIR 2/3, J-Cruise 2/3, Neotec 2/3) is found at TubsJackson. A bit of backstory: I've been very frustrated with sticky pads and crap alternatives that ruin the helmet, so I designed and manufactured my own solution and I have started selling them (to great success). They are mechanically fixed, ie you can remove it when you don't need the intercom. I've manufactured them with a company in the midlands using a sophisticated 3D printer so they are very durable and stable in the harshest weather NE Scotland could throw at me. I've done 3 types for the EDGE, BOLD and FREECOM intercoms from Cardo.

I bought the PACK talk systems at the start of this season. It has been a huge upgrade from the G9’s. Very happy with the new system. It would have been nice to have this available to purchase before the start of the season.

Bought mine yesterday! Awesome piece of kit and the sound quality is fantastic compared to my old Caberg Pro Speak system. I also bought the second helmet kit with the 40mm JBL speakers. Couldn’t be happier!

Great Video - Just ordered a PACKTALK Pro for my 2024 Harley Road Glide. Can you tell me if I pair the Cardo Pro to the Bike Infotainment can I also pair the Cardo to my phone at the same time? I have heard that when you pair the bluetooth to two devices it can create errors. Thanks!

While making an outgoing call 2nd time using the voice assist, the phone ask's to unlock the phone to make a call, this is quite irritating, as I have to stop, take out the phone and make the call. Is there a way to keep the iphone unlocked when cardo is connected? I am using the Packtalk Edge.

Not an iphone user, but in Android you can set the cardo as a trusted device, that mantains unlocked the phone while the unit is paired (if you unlocked it after connecting) Maybe ios has something similar? Not sure

Packtalk pro has the large barrel connector that goes from the unit to the left speaker. That barrel is crazy hard for me to find someplace to hide on my RF-SR, is there any way those connections can be a bit flatter and flexible instead of a 2" metal barrel? I've got it all back together but the brand new RF-SR is now popping the left cheek clip off every time I take the helmet off because of the additional outward pressure against it.

I hope you show how to pair to an iPhone and motorcycle that allows music to play through the headset. It seems that after I pair the headset to the iPhone, once I pair it to the motorcycle, it throws stuff off and I can’t hear my music though the headset.

Still debating on whether i should get the Pro or the Edge since i have forgotten to turn off my headset multiple times and usually dont realize it till i cant hear anything on my phone when i make a call because its being forwarded to my headset lol. That crash detection is definitely a good idea. I had an accident once last year that apparently left me unconscious for 6 minutes before being woken up by the Ambulance. Just want to get real user reviews and not thos4 sponsored ones which include getting the product for free, getting paid for the review or being a brand AmbassaDork.

Cardo - the auto on/off feature can and should be a software update for EDGE owners to enable. Please consider it for loyal Cardo customers who have supported the brand for years!

Was thinking it was a scummy advertising trick, but our Edge units wouldn't be able to work like the Pro. The Edge would have to function similar to a phones auto on/off, whereas the pro is motion activated

@@sdfaulk01 Friend; On the new Goldwings (18-24 models) when me or my friend(s) that have a Cardo pack talk edge get a call from the wives wondering when we'll be home; We hear one side of the conversation it's always whom ever is on the Goldwing. It's a know problem that both Honda and Cardo seem to know about but; both point fingers at each other and refuse to do anything about it.

You do realise that the crash detection need extra hardware on the unit, right?! I don't think any of the existing units have "motion sensors" most likely an accelerometer.

@@dlos1987 basic electronics. If they have the auto on/off they need to detect movement on the unit. simple as that... And I don't think they have those on any other units because it's just stupid to add extra stuff without using it. I don't have any connections to cardo apart from the 4x unit I bought and would like to change because the group is getting bigger. These conclusions are only based on my electronics backgroud, I don't have any privileged spec sheet.

The speakers are tapered at the bottom to fit into the 40mm cutouts.. I have a HJC C91 with a new TP Pro in it, the speakers fit fine..

Cardo please put anc noice cancellation to save my ears from wind noise

ANC just tricks your brain into not hearing noise. It won’t actually protect your ears from wind damage. Get a good pair of earplugs. I ride with “Big Ears”

anc is a destructive noise cancelation it plays the opposite frequency to cancel out, using anc on a bike only increases the noise and is EXTREMELY dangerous to your hearing. stick to some no noise plugs or cheap earplugs
