Great tips on combining the cardstock colors. It's so simple once you hear it. Love both cards, but the wizard is adorable. I love all your cards, but this is a nice departure from the bulkier cards that need extra handling. An 8X8 card would cost a lot to send in the US, but these techniques are certainly adaptable to smaller cards. Thanks!!

Yes you are right this can be adapted to be used on any sized card and it works just as well.... saves the problem of decorating the inside or adding an insert to the card ... all the sentiment and your signature can go on the back instead... along with the "Handmade by ..... your name"

The larger envelopes should be available in most craft shops and you can get them online too. In my videos there are some that cover waterclolouring with Distress inks that you may find helpful.... that is a very easy medium to work with.

Die cutting machines are a good investment when you make cards and there are many on the market...I don't know much about the Wizard as it has been replaced by the Grand Calibur. The Grand Calibur was my personal choice and the larger cutting plates means I can use the bigger dies. You may not have the Grand dies ... yet but you probably will in the future. The choice is yours but I would save a little longer and get the Grand Calibur... I don't think you will be disappointed with it.

I buy my envelopes from the local craft store here in the UK but you can always have a go at making some and the instructions are in Bespoke Envelopes.... the sitemap on the website will show you all the pages that are there.

I buy my card from lots of places ... The Paper Mill Shop, Crafters Comapnion. Hunkydory and The Hobbycraft shop.... the first two are available online so well worht looking. But you can always glue two pieces together for strength if need be

Christina, where do you find colored cardstock that has the strength to be the body of a card? All of the colored cardstock I've purchased have been kind of floppy and don't work well as the body of the card itself. Thanks for another great video!

Hi Christina, I was wondering if you could help me decide which die cutting machine to buy. Where I live, we have the grand calibur available for $200, but there is also for sale the spellbinders wizard machine, and since that is a discontinued item, it's going for about $60. I'm leaning towards the wizard mainly because of the price, and also because I like the smaller size... but I might have problems with replacing plates in the future. Do you think I should just go for the Calibur?
