Yo 89. How are you? Havent seen you in a while. Hope you're doing ok. Anyway since you havent released anything new in a while, i again make the pitch to spotlight goblin slayer: another adventurer nightmare feast on the switch/steam. Just the asian version out but the english version should be out later this year. Seems interesting and i'm a fan of the anime.

Hey rob, I'm good. Thanks for asking! Just been busy with work and family, but I'm hoping to cover Rise Eterna War which is a sequel to a game I covered a long time ago that came up a bit short. Hoping they've improved with the new release. I'll keep my eye on goblin slayer too.

@@89Games i checked it out. I actually prefer how rise eterna is over the new one. Grid-based for the original right? Overall though, really not a fan of the retro srpg look. Still, it will be good to spotlight games.that are coming out with no hype. Others may be interested. I've had the same problems with the look in fell seal, which is why i havent returned and finished it. I'm glad i got it on sale. I've been more into valkyria chronicles 4 recently which i also got on sale. Have you played that? If not, its another TRPG i recommend you check out. Everyone and their mother has been covering sword of convallaria. Seems to be better than expected (especially the story and mission variety) but i still cant get over the gacha part and convoluted systems.

@@TheRobversion1 yep, the gotcha stuff turned me off to it. I did think about covering it though. I think everyone else is feeling the trpg drought too lol.

@@89Games i havent noticed it as IMO there were alot of good older games that i got into this year in 13 sentinels, gloomhaven and valkyria chronicles 4. there should be more options later this year with metal slug tactics, goblin slayer and possibly kriegsfront tactics coming out. Forever Entertainment (same localized of rise eterna war) also has 2024 as their indicated release of front mission 3 remake. I'm pretty excited for that one as that IMO Is the best game of the series.

@@TheRobversion1 yeah, there's a few things on the horizon. I definitely want to check out front mission 3 and the demo for metal slug tactics was fun. I'm being really picky with what I play and cover to try and make the best use of my time.
