Glad someone finally mentioned the increase in pricing on craft items. Price increases at SSS are astonishing. Glad SB gave notice and explanation. Adorable cards, as always, Tina! TFS!

I totally agree. Now we all know that the dies and stamps are NOT made in USA as many companies claim! They are made and bought by USA companies for pennies from China and we American Crafters are paying Many Many many times the true costs and the crafting companies are making MILLIONS and then claiming to be " Mom and Pop " stores. If only American Businesses were honest again and were happy to make only a decent living and not strive to make millions more each year. If only the American workers were paid a LIVING wage so we too could have " the good life ".

Unfortunately this is only the beginning and one of many businesses that cannot absorb these tarrifs! I though we were told "we wouldn't be paying the tarrifs, China was paying the tarrifs" Sorry for the rant! Not going to stop me from enjoying the craft.

@@lilahs200 Well wait a minute, I think Spellbinders may actually be a UK company, they don't make claims that their stuff is made in the USA and I think even if it were, coming back into the US they might get hit by the tariffs -- that's what happens with car parts coming back into the US from maquiladoras in Mexico, so I don't think this impacts our bona fide mom and pop shops and US die makers. We just have to be aware of what's going on and mindful shoppers -- a new spin on "buyer beware!" :)

Gorgeous cards - my fave is the sympathy card. Beautifully elegant. Tariffs. Ugh. They were very generous to absorb that cost for as long as they did!

I couldn’t resist watching, even though I had to give up my subscription for a while. I love playing with the various elements to create something beautiful! You have done a fantastic job this month. Wish I could play along, but thank you for sharing what you did. The deep blue and gold foil on the sympathy card are pure classic elegance.

I love all of your cards, I didn't think I could pick a favorite until you did the closeup at the end. I agree with you, the sympathy card is exquisite! You really do show how to use every aspect of the kit! The increase in price is minimal when you consider everything included, it is still a great value. Thanks for sharing.

Hey Tina.....ALL the cards are really awesome! Your creative mind really astounds me and I am baffled with how you manage to come up with all these designs! Thank you for discussing the SB price increase. I completely understand their predicament. I am an international customer and unfortunately, by the time the product gets to me, I'm paying over double the cost of the product. So, even with the price increase, if I was American I would definitely be signing up for their kits...as you say they are always quality and trendy products and for Americans, a great value. Love them all, but I have to admit I cringe whenever a sheet of foil paper is covered up. I always cut out the middle a use elsewhere.
