Well, Tina... Watching you create these great cards, I became quite vexed, because all my friends are "normalies" and not a crafter in sight :((( But your ideas are saved in my brains and they`ll come out combined with other themed cards. Thanks a lot for all your inspiration!!

I was not really liking this kit much, but you did a beautiful job - so creative!!! I have been struggling with card kits lately because I feel pressure to use all the elements of the kit even if I'd rather use a sentiment or image form a different stamp set, or I don't like a particular paper, etc. I've decided that I will make 5 cards using the kit, and the rest however I like!! The only "rule" I have made is that I do need to use the entire stamp set -- I have so many sets, that if I don't use it, then I may never!!!

Tina, you are amazing once you get on a roll designing cards. I often feel so overwhelmed with a lot of resources, embellishments etc and don't know where to start. Any help with this Tina? :O)

I can relate!!! I have been debating on stopping all kits for a while, and, like you, making my own kits with a similar theme as the current kit, so that I can challenge my creative juices and join in the fun too! For me, my challenge in 2018 is to use more of my stamp sets, and to de-stash by making as many cards as I can for charities. I just have too much and am so overwhelmed that I am not enjoying the process as much anymore -- and that's just NOT acceptable!!! :P

Boy, Angela, you sure struck a chord in me! I am so tired of getting all of my stuff out and then sit there looking at it, going "duh.." I am going to take your advice and try to take a couple of sets I like, and make up sets like you suggest, What a great idea!! Tina is wonderful, isn't she? She doesn't go over the top and try to use a load of things that most of us don't have and can't afford. Even when she pulls things from her stash it is usually things that I would bet a lot of us have, or something similar. I really enjoy her style and her manner. But thank you Angela! You are my new inspiration!

Angela - could I ask are you creating your own kits form scratch? - or are you building complementary kits to the monthly SSS kits? -- I am thinking that you are doing that as a way to keep from digging thru everything you own to find the right embellies, etc. for the kits? thanks so much!
