I'm from Kyrgyzstan. Graduated from home country MBBS and physician specialist. Fortunately wanted to improve my knowledge came to Turkey and cleared all an exams internal then newly started my clinical biochemistry specialist post graduation program. ( Total Duration of study will be 4 years) . I hope I did right decision... :) .

In India they have reduced the intake but in abroad MSc Phds are equal to MBBS MD in non clinical Subjects, for medicos title Resident doctors for non medicos it will be Research Scientist" in March 2022 Ministry of Health & family welfare have reversed NMC order dated on 2020 Oct pending the case in Delhi court when MSc PhD is equal to MBBS MD in non clinical subjects since all are Biomedical fields

@ Nikhil Jena sorry u can't teach in Medical colleges since the Medical council of India as reduced the intake for non Medical faculties from 50% -15% ,more over MSc Medical Biochemistry is required not MSc biotechnology,plus phd in medical biochemistry or any Biomedical Subject like Medical Genetics, Laboratory medicine ....

@ Nikhil jena again Ministry of Health and medical education reversed NMC order back to 50% In biochemistry and 30% in Anatomy and Physiology + 15% in Pharmacology & Microbiology so it's back to old ways

@@sadhanab1252 md physiology have more scope bcz they do mbbs they can teach medical students,but you will also have oppurtunities to teach nursing paramedical students,if practicing side doesn't work for you go to teaching side if you have skills in teaching

@ Adeeb nope DM is more over clinical, After MD u can either pursue PhD or DNB , I suggest for PhD than DNB since it has got more opportunities and since DNB has made equivalent to MD now
