Sir I am in chemical branch (first year). I want to learn any technical skills, like web dev, ai/ml . But I have a query what if I gave my time learning any of skill, but would I convince the IT company , because I will have a core degree at the end. I know I could try off campus every where, But still how do I convince the company about my knowledge and experience regarding my technical skills. Do I have to do any minor course or Any online course for any certificate.

You can have certification but if you really have that skill then no certification needed..an expert interviewer will determine in few mins your proficiency in that skill

@@navhis no need to join club.. if you want to develop proficiency in comm skills, I will give you best idea join some public speaking coaching in summer vacation you will get guidance directly from an expert..either offline or online but prefer offline one if possible, Start practicing public speaking bcz that is the toughest zone if you become comfortable with it you will become comfortable with speaking with anyone There are many content scattered on KZbin but following those is too difficult..although you can get few tips from youtube You can make a group among your friends and practice group discussion, debates, extempore read out loudly and slowly few pages of novel or newspaper daily You can also pick any topic and start speaking in front of camera, record and then see where you can improve
