Dear Richard, update to further increase my chances of getting work with Network Rail. I have signed up with their Careers Hub community page, this is where they place people with Jobs they think based on my Profile I will be a match for. I have opted in for all alerts. So in addition to the 3 jobs I am being considered for, this should cover all my bases. Plus I have all your advice purchased in the form of the 50 interview and answers questions and online Ultimate Training Course. I think I got all the bases covered to be able to get something. I also already following the company on Social Media. I never would have done this before had I not come across your channel & website. Thank you very much.

I don't even know what exactly I was excepted to answer. The question was from the last Interview I attended. I just talked about the roles and how I'm a good fit but it seems they weren't impressed with that answer, hence my reason for asking.

Question Richard, how do you pass an interview where you only match part of the Job Description, but the other part you don't exactly match. How do you bypass that barrier if you are switching one sector do a completely different sector.

My advice here would be to really highlight the transferable skills you have learned in your previous role. I hope this helps! :)
