Roles and responsibilities
Home support pilot program-taking care of small kids either in your employer house or in your own home.
-safety is number priority,prepare food for the children,take them to school,reading,playing with them indoor /outdoor.do house light housekeeping (cleaning washing clothes ,dishes)
Home support worker pilot program
-you taking care of elderly with disabilities or companionship,
Take them to doctor’s appointment
Bath,meal preparation,housekeeping (washing,cleaning)

That waa my work before in Macau. Looked after an elderly woman. Accompany where ever she wants go. Thank you again mam Sara. I'm already 56 years old but still want to Canada my dream country ro work. My problem was i'm only third year high shool. But i worked already in 4 countries, singapore, taiwan, israel and macau. I want to apply even rhough im not a high school graduate. Thank you

Maam sarah.. pwide ko po pa advice, i dont have a family in canada nor a relatives po. gusto ko sanang mag pa advive po sainyo kong saang province po sa canada ang mas maganda pag trabahuan po. di kopo kasi alam ang sistema po dyan kasi hindi pa po ako nka punta po dyan po maam. at saan po mostly madaming mg pilipino po maam like pilipino community for caregivers po

Let me share you my short story,when I first come to Canada I don’t even know anybody even my employer who pick me up in the airport as nanny,I struggle at first (new environment and work in a remote area.)soon I found another employer in a small city until I settle my permanent resident in Canada 🇨🇦.so u don’t have to worry about no relatives/friends here.just apply and you will survive here in Canada.everywhere is Filipinos even in a remote area.best city to live in my city of Calgary Alberta.but if don’t like snow settle in British Columbia Canada.good luck to your application in Canada 🇨🇦

Hello and thank you for the invaluable information that you share. Question: Would the home-child-care worker be the same as the Resident Care Worker? If so, would I be allowed to care for children in my home? Currently, I anticipate enrolling in a Certificate course(DLI) with (PGWP) in the fall 2021as an international student. I am a Senior.

Hi sarah,if I got to come to canada as a caregiver and the 5 years for pilot program are finished before I get the 24 months job experience to apply for PR .will I still be eligible under the pilot program

If non-citizen go as caregiver at 35 years old and if it need two year after that to apply PR . Do they have age limit applying for PR as a caregiver as well ? I heard it should not over than 35 years old for applying PR even if there is no age limit for working as caregiver but it has limit age for applying PR which is 35 , not sure if it true ?

You still need to have atlis 72 units above or two yrs course graduate ka.mas maganda mag aral ka continue kahit 2 yrs course instead na caregiver
