😭this scene is one of the most heartbreaking moments of the entire show

@@UserAndiM Phoebe is not happy about it at the ending and which should've gone angry at Paige on Episode 16 for that of Season 4 after trying to attack him.

I grew up watching Anne of Green Gables in the 80’s, and so naturally LOVED the spin off of Road to Avonlea, and therefore, Sarah Polley. I love Megan Follows as well! I’m from Michigan (but grew up spending lots of time in Ontario towns, since my family is from there). Michigan, being a border state, I was lucky enough to have access to Canadian channels and programming. Fast forward to 1997, when I was 20 years old and in college, I took a “good books” class. One of the required reads was “The Sweet Hereafter.” I loved the book. Well, a couple of years later, I saw there was a movie made, and a Canadian production at that, so I was excited to watch it, and then ELATED to find out Sarah Polley was one of the lead actors (among my other favorites). Yet, it still got better! I love the Tragically Hip… and this song. When Sarah sang it, I was over the freaking moon! What a beautiful voice she has! I just watched the movie again last night… after not seeing it in decades (how time flies). I completely forgot about Sarah’s cover of this song. THANK YOU for this, as I can’t find it on Spotify. I’m in a sad place right now, and this song is helping; I have it on repeat.

Hope you’re in a better place now friend ❤ This song also helped me through difficult times, a great song and a great film.

It's by the Tragically Hip just so you know

This was only used when Phoebe only had a strong breakdown due to killing Cole who was suspected, accused and predicted by Paige none of the others, including her, Piper, and Leo, except for Paige knew that Cole was a demon at the ending of this melancholy 20th episode of the fourth season.

Wow I feel so bad for not connecting the dots. As a Canadian who grew up watching Road to Avonlea, I had no idea this is who sang this song. As an avid Charmed fan this scene breaks me every time. Had no clue that is singing in this moment. Wild.
