Riga - Latvia

Riga is the capital and the largest city of Latvia. With 639,630 inhabitants (2016), Riga is the largest city in the Baltic states, home to one third of Latvia's population and one tenth of the Baltic states' population. The city lies on the Gulf of Riga, at the mouth of the Daugava. Riga's territory covers 307.17 square kilometres and lies between one and ten metres above sea level, on a flat and sandy plain.

nice. The bus is actually 1,15eur had you bought your tickets beforehand! Food is not that cheap either if you have a local salary which is about 800eur per month. But Riga is beautiful anyway.

John Smith for us, the Dutchman is food is cheap. We went with small bus van that went directly to the airport. that costs slightly more

Caressa van Eis you should go to places like Kuldiga and Liepaja/Karosta. They are even cheaper than Riga and offer a great variety of things to see and do (and eat)! :)
