I live alone but was at times laughing out loud but in a way that this makes me very happy for you and for humanity! I never heard of this before and found myself smiling all the way through this video. You are a great example of the "Green Generation" that is making a difference in the quality of life for all, and for yourselves too with all the exercise. I would have never thought of how good of a choice it is to use a recumbent bike for deliveries and how you are so conscientious you don't obstruct others. I think others would allow space for such a great cause and nice too how you don't take up more than one bike lane. That's amazing how you go in winter too. For myself I use studded tires in the winter, very nice ones made in Finland. I commute by bike and in fact just returned home from a 16 mile trip to get my organic groceries from a food cooperative in the USA. I like the music too with your video, and so nice to see such young an motivated people. I liked too how you interviewed the director of that pre-school for children and how you deliver for their meal program, great! Thanks for sharing this good news of people doing great things.

I use a modified trailer and a pedal assist bike to get around doing gardening, and with lightweight battery powered tools i can take it all with me including a mower. I thoroughly enjoy traveling between jobs.

The cargo bike thing needs to be more popular. A peddle assist tricycle is more than enough for a grocery run and you can run it for a tiny fraction of the cost of a car, which leaves more money for groceries.

we dont have such nice ebikes here in mere kill country . mother mere kill has some other friends , whom she serves more than the inviroment and bikers . we also have only highways for bloody pollution cars and no bike infrastructure and bike highways like sveden, denmark, holland and all this bike countries . here in my country all cardrivers want to kill bikers and hate them . only some cardrivers take care of the bikers and drive safely . the brain of german cardrivers are programmed so insane and weird with hate against bikers.

If there were cycle paths parallel to every road it could work, but even in Göteborg that's not the case. Also, you are driving through streets normally reserved for pedestrians. Very often your vehicles are slowing down traffic, thereby causing traffic jams rather than solving them. I support all sorts of initiatives to create a better environment, as long as it doesn't mean having to jump aside because yet another arrogant, bearded hippie thinks he owns the whole street.

Hi Jacques, sorry you feel this way! We do not recognise this picture you are painting. We more or less daily receive praise from fellow cyclists, and complaints are VERY rare -also usually connected when we introduce new couriers that ride extra carefully and might park in ways that are not thought through. We do not use streets reserved for pedestrians if cyclists are not allowed on them. In terms of slowing down traffic, we have a cruising pace that is on par with the average cyclist. Sometimes we are overtaken by the fastest class of cyclists, and sometimes we overtake slower cyclists. Our big bikes are best in class when it comes to bike lane fit -only 86 cm wide is less than family cargo bikes, and world class suspension means that we don't have to slow down on uneven surfaces -for example on Vasagatan where unsuspended bikes gets a bit too tough love often causing them to slow down. You are welcome to try our bikes for yourselves if you wish! Email [e-mail] and we'll set you up, should you be interested.
